When the second snow fell in the Makala Mountains, Green Leaf Town's second common language examination also officially began.
The results of the first examination had already come out.
It was several hundred nearly identical test papers.
The reason was simple, after all, it was the result of three skeletons discussing the answers together, with the elves beside them copying, and then spreading the answers further.
But what they didn't know was that these three skeletons were craftily mischievous.
They could have answered everything correctly, but they intentionally wrote a few wrong answers, only to change them back at the last moment when handing in their papers.
So the result was that no one's score could surpass theirs.
This meant that this group of adult elven refugees had lost an opportunity.
After two more failed attempts to surpass the skeletons, they would have to spend the winter in the forest with the few scattered Witherbeasts.
