This hotel, situated at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th street, is hailed as a masterpiece of Beaux-Arts architecture in Mi Country's history and was the first building of the Mi Country Modern Art Museum, constructed in 1921.
The building was renamed Aman New York in August 2022, marking its reopening as a hotel.
The security department of China chose this place for Team China's accommodations not because of its artistic atmosphere or the expensive and high-class costs, but for comprehensive safety considerations and privacy protection.
Inside Lin Xian's room, several accompanying staff members were inspecting with various instruments, checking all the equipment, cables, and corners of the room.
This was actually the fourth inspection; before Lin Xian's competition team had arrived in Mi Country, the room had been prepared and thoroughly checked three times.
