The enemy attempted to evade the massive earth pillars Zack summoned, but they descended too quickly, propelled by his control. The pillars crashed into her cubic body with a tremendous force, driving her downwards until she slammed into the ground. The impact echoed through the area, and dust and debris were thrown into the air.
Zack's earth pillars pinned her to the ground, forming a prison of solid rock that restricted her movements. For a moment, it seemed he had the upper hand. However, the stop was short-lived. The enemy, undeterred, began to unleash a barrage of lightning bolts from her trapped position.
The bolts struck the pillars from below, each impact sending cracks spiderwebbing through the stone. Zack could see the flashes of light and hear the rumbling as the lightning bolts blasted upwards, methodically breaking apart the pillars that confined her. The intensity of her attacks grew, and pieces of the shattered earth pillars began to fall away.
