In the end, Zack finished the second line of enemies and reached the later stages of level 119. The sun was already setting, but he decided to go where the enemy's base was supposed to be.
The enemy base this time around was in the middle of a small city. Zack could see that because he could see the streets perfectly. All the rubble and debris had been moved away, probably thanks to the metallic warriors… speaking of which, Zack could see hundreds of them forming a circle around the wormhole that was in the middle of the place.
"No guardian and no base, huh?" Zack rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "This is odd."
Expecting all enemies to act in the same way would be unrealistic, Zack knew. Each foe brought unique strategies and tactics influenced by their nature and capabilities. However, there were fundamental principles in warfare that remained constant, even on a cosmic scale. These principles couldn't be ignored or skipped, regardless of the enemy's specifics.
