As nightfall descended, the landscape around Zack was cloaked in a deepening darkness. The sky, now devoid of any lingering twilight, was dotted with faint stars, offering little illumination. Zack knew he needed to find shelter soon.
However, his search for a suitable place to camp was quite difficult. The area was barren and desolate, offering little in the way of natural protection. There were no trees to provide cover, no caves to hide in, and no structures to take refuge in. The landscape consisted of small, rolling hills, almost entirely free of vegetation. The sparse grass that dotted the hills provided no real concealment or safety.
The gentle slopes of the hills offered minimal shelter, and the open expanse made him an easy target for any roaming predators or enemies. He needed to find a spot where he could at least stay out of sight and get some rest without being discovered.
