What defined skill? What separated the masters from the apprentices?
Was it precision? Was it mastery? Was it experience? Was it comprehension of the arts? Was it adaptability? Was it techniques?
Was it all?
To Adonis, it didn't matter. He wanted to reach the zenith in any aisle that could possibly define skill.
What he wanted was a form of perfection that stood beyond the zenith of perfection itself.
He wanted to be unmatched.
As he spent more time in the real world, Adonis learnt more about himself and over these past few months, he discovered a few things.
He hated not being in control and he hated imperfection. He hated weakness as well. Even more than the two.
Funnily enough, these traits perfectly reflected the Gifts he'd awakened but even this wasn't enough to satisfy his need for perfection. His need for control. His need for power.
It was a slow process but it was happening.
