Chapter 1 - Prologue

"You betrayed me?" Lasiya clenched her chest tightly. She coughed up blood vigorously. She felt the blood is blocking her breathing.

"Betray you? Isn't it a harsh words to use?" Sevverl held the blade by hilt, pointing it to Lasiya's face. The edge touching her cheek.

"If anything, isn't it you betrayed others to begin with?" Sevverl laughed out loud. The blade's edge driving slowly into her cheek, drawing out droplets of blood.

"I did it for you." Lasiya hissed from the pain throbbing from the wake of the blade.

Cold sweat covered her wholly, Lasiya felt her body going numb slowly. She coughed again, her eyes burning with tears.

"Ha ha ha..." Sevverl laughed out loud.

He drives the blade against her cheek, opening a wound.

"Ah—" She screamed. Her tongue is numb from the poison she consumed.

She couldn't speak. She couldn't move her body. With a thud, she fell to the floor. Blood pouring from he mouth, her eyes bloodshot and her pupils dilated, she glazed at Sevverl.

"I just can't believe I did those things to someone like you." She spits her saliva mixed with blood at Sevverl's boot.

"Tsk— You!" Sevverl glared at her but his expression changed to sarcastic.

"Clean my boots, baby." Sevverl put his boots against her mouth.

Lasiya tried to turn her face away but she couldn't as her body doesn't respond to her brain. She whimpered while Sevverl wiped his boot on her mouth.

Tears streamed down her eyes. The hatred still burning in full force for him. For her.

Did she deserve this end? Absolutely! She thought to herself. She was maker of her destiny in this manner.

If she hadn't betrayed her sisters. If she hadn't helped Sevverl. If she only did her job, she wouldn't have been in this mess.

"Time to say goodbye to the world, Lasiya. If only can, we meet again in a good time again." Sevverl draws his blade up.

With a single strike, the world around Lasiya turned into pitch black. The shining of the blade is the only thing she remembered though the darkness.

I wish I could change it. Change... every...thing...
