Lorraine's POV
Today started like any other day. I woke up, had my bath, ate, and started my lessons on being a proper lady. Even though I had mastered everything I needed to know. My stepmother had to make sure that I continued taking them, according to her, she said one can never get tired of learning.
My friends would normally join me for such lessons but unfortunately, today I was left by myself as each of them had something important to do.
Today I was learning about managing the household as a noble lady. My instructor Sheila was a wonderful woman and she was all but nice but I couldn't help but wish to do something else.
We spent some time doing the lesson until I was tired and dismissed her for the day. I heard some unfamiliar voices in the palace and I went in search of them. As I got closer to the voices, I could hear Brother Torrain's voice with them. It seems Brother had brought some visitors to the palace but why?
