What appeared before me in addition to the prompt of the System was a holographic representation of both the male and female gender of the species I had previously created and I had to say I wasn't disappointed at what I saw, both were very beautiful in appearance, even if the male of the species looked a bit more feminine than I had imagined.
They both had shining blond hair with a silver shine to it, very pale skin that looked almost like porcelain, the eyes being a vibrant blue colour with a bit of a twinkle to them, both also had six wings that were transparent growing out of their back all in all they did indeed look very Angelic, but they still maintained the look of a human or at least they could be mistaken as one if you were to overlook the obvious differences and of course there immense beauty.
I selected Male as my Gender, yes I could choose to be a female but I was in my previous life also a male so It would feel awkward if I had to suddenly life as a female.
After I Confirmed my gender the holographic figure of the Male Avatar shifted into the Center of the stage while the Female Avatar disappeared entirely. But when I looked closely at the Male Avatar I noticed that he appeared smaller and did he look younger? "I could have sworn he was an adult just moments ago?".
"System why does the avatar suddenly look so young?" I questioned the system, not understanding what was happening.
[ Explanation: the age of the Avatar that had previously been generated had the appearance of one that was close in age to your own, however there is a maximum age limiter in place that specifically prevents you from choosing any age older than 12 as your age of entering your new life , please enter your preferred age now provided it is in the rage to 1-12]
I grumbled to myself about this stupid system and this stupid rule and the unfairness of it all, why must they make it so difficult for me, was I to go through puberty again, a nightmare I didn't want to go through again as the last time was already hard enough for me. Still There was no way around it so I selected 12 as my age to start, hopefully there is a Force power that helps me go through puberty much easier in my second time around.
As I confirmed my age of rebirth begrudgingly with the system new features were unlocked, I could now change my appearance at least a bit, thinks I couldn't change were my skin, eye and hair colour apparently they had to stay the same not that I minded. The first thing I changed was my hair I made it shoulder long, yes it would at to the femininity of my Avatar as he looked like a little girl if you ignored some parts of his body, but I had long hair in my previous life and I didn't want to part with it. Besides I knew he would grow more Masculine in the future, at least I hoped so.
I also made him a face that any sculpture would love to eternalise in stone and of course I gave him some muscle, unfortunately I couldn't give him anything more than a light swimmer's build because the system didn't allow any more, all in all the avatar looked very attractive even if a bit feminine, and I would draw a fair bit of attention to myself but sacrifices have to be made I guess, not at all minding if I draw more attention than I probably should.
I saved the Changes I made to the Avatar and continued on my road to a new Life by informing the system that I was indeed finished with my character creation.
[Please Choose the Skills for your character, please keep in mind that with each skill chosen you Use up a fixed amount of Lkp (Lkp= Life-Karma-points) you currently possess 3,162,128 Lkp.]
With that prompt also appeared to my chagrin a incredibly large list of skills that seemingly had no end, "this is going to take me a long time to look through" I thought to myself, already resigned to my fate, "this sucks".
After a indeterminate amount of time, that must have been longer than at least three hours, I finally finished the list and had picked out 7 Skills I thought were must have's.
[Eidetic Memory: The user remembers everything with perfect clarity. Cost: 10.000 Lkp.]
[Starter Survival Kit: A Starter Kit that may or may not contain skills and items the player would need to survive. Cost: this kit is provided free of charge, if you don't take advantage than good luck, you will need it.]
"Okay That sounds ominous" I said while quickly adding it to my collection of skills, not having seen it the first time. "Isn't that a item though?"
[Ambidextrous: The User can use both their hands as if they were the dominant one. Cost: 5.000 Lkp.]
"Could be useful if I loose one" i thought, clearly thinking about both Luke and Anakin as examples just why I thought this skill so useful.
[Lightsaber combat: The player knows and embraces the way of the Sword. Cost 10.000 Lkp.]
[Force Healing: Player can use the Force to accelerate the body's natural healing process of any target provided said target is still alive. Cost 200.000 Lkp.]
"Why is such a useful skill so cheap?" I asked the system very surprised, shouldn't it be worth more if it can do the things it describes.
[ Awnser: The Skill known as "Force Healing" is at least partially common as there are many different practitioners in the Jedi Order that have learned this skill, this technique is often practiced in the Halls of healing In the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.]
[Force Telecinesis: The Player can use the Force to move objects around, as long as he maintains Focus. Cost: 100.000 Lkp.]
[Force Precognition: The player can sense with the Force any danger to himself to avoid harm of any sort. Cost: 100.000 Lkp.]
[Mechu- Deru: A ability often associated with the Sith, The user has an instinctual understanding of most mechanics and systems, it also allows the user to exert their influence over inanimate objects and Robotic constructs. Cost: 500.000 Lkp.]
Only someone who didn't watch Star Wars or was simply an idiot, incapable of thinking, could not understand the importance of this skill and what value it has for my future Life as well as continued survival.
[All Speak: The user can Speak and understand all languages as if he spoke them his hole Life, this includes the ability to read and write. Cost: 500.000 Lkp.]
Again a ability that would surely prove useful, I know that with the force there should come at least a instinctive understanding to what the other party I converse with says but with "All-Speak" I am covert in all bases.
[Born of the Force: The Player is one with the Force and the Force is with him. The will of the Force is the Players calling... Cost: 500.000 Lkp.]
"A bit expensive for a skill that just gives me the ability to call upon the Force don't you think?" The system however remained suspiciously silent, I narrowed my eyes but let it go for now.
That was when I noticed another skill I hadn't seen before, if my name was Mad eye I would have been mighty suspicious now as it made it look as if the system was trying to distract me from something.
"KICK THE GREEN GNOME IF I AM RONG BUT ISN'T THAT YODA'S ABILITY?!" I cried out as I saw the ability I had previously overlooked.
[Tutaminis: allows the user to Absorb or dissipate energy with the aid of the Force. Cost: 500.000 Lkp.]
After Purchasing all the skills I needed and finished looking through the list a second time just to be sure, I confirmed that I wasn't buying any more skills and moved on to the next section of my seemingly endless journey to my next great adventure.
