Episode One
I sat on the front row, listening to Dad preach against sin with all act of seriousness.
I could feel the word 'sin' disgusted my father, and listening to his words gave me goosebumps.
Being a preacher's only child came with responsibilities and expectations. I lived by dad's rules.
I rarely lied, I never stole, I read my bible every single day, just as a pastor's son should. But still, I have one problem.
It started the moment my parents separated me from the opposite gender, sending me off to a boarding school, which consisted of only my gender.
I had this feeling it would be a disaster.
Bring the only child of my parents, no one had ever seen my nakedness.
It felt weird being in a room filled with guys swinging their pen.is like it was nothing.
It felt worst when I found out I'd be bathing in a hall filled with tons of guys.
The first few days of bathing together was one horrible experience.
I found myself staring at their exposed butts and nakedness.
I looked away quickly, so I wouldn't be caught. I kept my true identity until Maurice arrived.
Few months before our final exams, I was summoned by the principal.
There was no big deal since it has been a norm being the school's head prefect.
I got into his office, and I met him in a discussion with a teenager I couldn't see properly.
"Good morning, sir." I greeted, interrupting him.
"Oh, Victor! You're here." The principal exclaimed when he noticed my presence.
"You sent for me?" I reminded him of my reason for coming.
"Yes! Meet Maurice, our newest student. He's a final year student and certainly in your class." The principal explained, pointing at the guy sitting in front of him.
"Sir, isn't it weird admitting a new student few months before graduation?" I asked.
He shot me a glare.
"I'm sorry, sir." I apologized quickly.
"You'll be his tour guide for today..."
"But sir, I have tutorials today." I complained.
"Don't get on my nerves, Victor!" The principal snapped.
"It's no big deal, sir. I can manage." The Maurice of a guy spoke up for the first time.
I must say, I was drooling over his voice, but caught a grip of myself immediately.
"I'll take him." I said immediately.
"Don't worry, boy. He'll take you." The principal told him.
"Take him to the school designer so he'll get his uniforms and day wears, and your room is still vacant, right?" The principal asked, referring to me.
"Yes, sir." I replied.
"Okay. Take him to your crib. You'll be sharing the room together."
"Huh!" I blurted.
"Any problem, Mr Victor?" The principal asked, staring at me closely.
"None, sir. Let's go." I said, tapping Maurice.
We walked to the tailor's office in silence.
We kept stealing glances at each other, looking away instantly after being caught.
"So, I'm Maurice." He said, breaking the silence.
"I know!" I replied rudely.
"Right!" Maurice muttered, short of words.
"You're the school's head prefect?" He asked again.
"We're here. Go in and get your stuff." Ignoring his question, I pointed to the tailor's office.
He walked in while I stood outside, waiting for him.
"Victor! Victor!" I heard faint voices calling my name.
I woke up, realizing I was still in church and my Dad was still preaching about sin.
"Victor!" I heard someone whisper my name. I turned, and my gaze fell on my worst nightmare. Victoria!
