Synopsis
#Martial-qi-to-Immortal-cultivation, #Lineages, #AI-Chip, #creating-own-cultivation-method, #Biologic-Magic-Experiments #Steadly-paced-cultivation. "Waking up under an unknown roof~" A common toxic-waste-poison-tester researcher with a peculiar personality finds himself in a situation of "transmigration and rebirth" found in web novels where the protagonist is in another fictional world, often of the fantasy genre, where he has an adventure full of ups and downs for the reader's entertainment. With a shake of his head, a flood of memories washed over the researcher. Enlightened, he let out a deep laugh and smiled with half-closed eyes. "A society with highly uneven technologies, ridiculously long governance periods, national resources being spent on suspicious activities like placing well-paid forest guards in desolate areas, and 'sponsoring' martial arts schools with supernatural effects? Plus strange religions/myths about 'Immortal Sages'. The researcher was almost certain he had 'entered' a world of ridiculous cultivation where the planet has 6969 times the surface area of Earth and people with a metaphysical organ (probably eldritch mitochondria) can absorb pseudoscientific energies to ascend to a higher level of existence... Well, it's going to be fun, right C2~?" "Yes sir, according to the user's entertainment data over the last 46 years, you found 37% of cultivation fictions with the (transmigration) tag entertaining, totaling 971 entertaining cultivation fictions. Furthermore, all those with an AI assistant as 'cheating' were considered entertaining by the user..." The body integration AI assistant responded.

"Cetoh~ identify the current operational statuses."

"Understood, meister~: 3% 17% 33% 58% 79% 96% 100%. Functionalities are fully available... ERROR: module swapping function not detected, however, the drivers detected full functionality of previously equipped modules. ERROR: apparently, the body implants have disappeared, but operational capabilities remain. C2 suggests that the systems have been integrated into the 'soul' of the meister."

"Detected data:

Body temperature slightly higher than normal, no adverse effects noticed.

High blood oxygenation, ongoing analysis.

Bone age: dentition 13 years, joints 17 years, appendages 16 years, sternum 14 years, spine 13 years. Bones show theoretical durability 2.6 times higher than the registered standard of augmented human physique and theoretical flexibility 23% higher, but no signals of exogenous modifications, it's seen the body is strengthened by training and has a higher base standard than augmented humans from Earth.

Muscles indicate extensive daily use compatible with labor work, strains, and adaptations from woodcutting with a hatchet and archery detected, light-intensity runs and prolonged squat posture detected, jaw musculature indicates extensive but healthy use compatible with a diet of meat and nodular vegetables.

Functional gastrointestinal tract with unknown bacteria detected, lungs adapted to cold air healthy, eyes with slight damage due to exposure to solar reflections in terrain likely snow or sand were detected, supplementation of lipids, vitamins..."

"Nanite count shows no detection, meister. All 10 trillion units are undetectable, as the detection modules are functional despite the apparent lack of physical structure. Would you like to attempt initiating the production of biohybrid nanorobots?"

"Yes, CeeCee, but keep an eye on energy consumption. I believe that with the fusion of previously physical systems into the metaphysical realm, energy consumption may shift to using metaphysical energies and cause issues for my commun persona~."

While the Multi-Utility Biointegrated Artificial Intelligence System (MBIAS) was working, the researcher observed the 3D model of his new body as he processed the memories acquired through transmigration.

"The southern region of the Crimson Sacred Empire, near the border with the many 'conflicting realms'..." Said the dark silver young with his pair of gray eyes letting a glare into his inner thoughts older than

Apparently, the Crimson Sacred Empire is composed of 'Westerners,' despite encompassing almost half of the region considered 'Eastern' on the continent. However, the population is sparse due to the region's severe climate.

Apparently, 'Westerners' are basically people of Western fantasy in this world, with physical characteristics such as rare eye and hair colors, and are called 'Western barbarians' by the 'Asians,' referred to as 'yellow humanoids,' with this specific variation of the word humanoid being used for apparent sub-human races such as goblins with the appearance of furry monkeys with slanted eyes, said to inhabit caves in the desolate regions of the northern Crimson Sacred Empire and semi-inhabited islands of the region."

The appearance shown in the 3D model was that of a young teenager with stern but not unpleasant features, standing at 175cm tall, with silver hair mixed with black strands and gray eyes.

Arrgon Yeager, a young man from a family of hunters and forest and border guards. Apparently, he died after consuming a rare herb he had found and hidden during a hunt in an attempt to awaken his "vital fire" and advance to an initiate in martial arts, basically generating the internal qi of the martial fantasies of the researcher's world. For unknown reasons, after generating this "vital ember" and feeling like he was transcending the realm of common men as if in evolution of sorts, the young man felt as if his mind was being chewed, and then apparently died.

Suspicious, the researcher explored the surroundings without finding anything unusual. Considering the situation, the problem was undoubtedly related to the "rare herb," which was probably a magical herb from fantasy fiction. Since the martial arts realms known in the young man's memories were reasonably compatible with those of wuxia and xianxia, he deduced that what he ate was probably something of a much higher level than his own, but strangely the young man did not explode as was common in those stories.

Wandering through his many memories of wuxia, xianxia, and related fantasies, and comparing them with the world in the young man's memories, the researcher concluded some hypotheses about the situation in search of an acceptable conclusion so that he could be unconcerned about suffering the same fate as the young man.

In the Crimson Sacred Empire, there's a group of warrior practitioners called Knights for their integration with the empire and the noble title of knight. They are divided into apprentices, initiates, knights, advanced knights, grand knights, and the legendary sacred knight. They are responsible for maintaining the border against other nations, ensuring the security of settlements from criminals, and apparently they also serve the purpose of exterminating monsters and defending against migrations of monstrous hordes.

The young man was an apprentice knight practicing a technique called the "Bone and Tendon Bow," focused on explosive power, which, after igniting his vital ember or seed, turned him into an initiated knight using the magical plant.

Aside from these "Knights," there are exotic Alchemists and mythical "Mages or Sages," known only through rare accounts of people capable of using magic, fighting among themselves and with monsters of extremely high danger levels that cannot be defeated normally. As it is, the Asians, the other ethnicity on this continent, have their own versions of knights and "Mages," these being martial arts practitioners and "Immortal Sages," which are equally rare. However, something to consider is the fact that Asians have no records of any cultivation warrior realms beyond "grand knights" and are constantly considered inferior to the Western people for not having the necessary talent to reach that legendary level of "sacred knight," being seen as an inferior race. After Asians claimed that Westerners were foolish for believing in the existence of something beyond the "Great Knight" and vehemently denied the possibility of something like a "sacred knight," until one day a likely sacred knight destroyed one of the great martial arts sects overnight and flew away with wings made of condensed vitality after defeating and sparing several of the most powerful from other great sects of Asian realms.

This was approximately a millennium ago from the current moment.

Taking into consideration the existence of mages and immortal cultivators being highly probable, and the pattern in cultivation fantasies where mages and immortal cultivators are several times rarer and more powerful than common warrior cultivators, I considered that the herb I consumed was not just a "rare herb" containing only vitality but probably a magical herb suitable for cultivators, which should have not only vital energy found in living beings but also magical or spiritual energy. However, this still doesn't answer how the previous owner of the body met his end in the way he did.CC, examine this knight practice method quickly: "The human body is a treasure to be discovered... bones, muscles, and tendons are strengthened, and pressure strengthens blood vessels, organs, and the heart... and finally, vital energy condenses, and the ember that will become the vital flame is born in the human core, the 'bowel' (dantian). The ember feeds on physical energy and produces vital energy that strengthens the body and promotes life level evolution."

Entendido, meister. 33%, 55%, 77%, 99%, 100%. These are the conclusions of the current simulation:

This practice method seems to focus on physical strengthening and the condensation of vital energy within the human body, giving rise to the vital ember, which is fueled by physical energy and produces vital energy to strengthen the body and promote life-level evolution. The emphasis on improving bones, muscles, and organs, along with strengthening blood vessels, suggests a comprehensive focus on vitality and physical endurance.

This method appears to focus on the holistic development of the body and the maximization of the physical and energetic potential of knight practitioners. However, the effectiveness and safety of this method will depend on the accuracy and balance in manipulating vital energy, as well as the ability to avoid possible adverse effects in the process of condensing vital energy.

Entendo... Considering the fate of the last one who activated you, I'll wait for C2 to finish producing nanites and fully explore my new body," thought the researcher, visualizing the small vital energy ember within his dantian.

"How's the energy consumption, CC?"

"It's seen that the biologic-generator module is still functional, master, but the efficiency has decreased due to the lack of a physical medium. Seemingly, the generated energy is transported as soon as it's produced and stored in an unknown but quantifiable location, apparently the master's soul. The organism naturally discards the byproducts of energy generation, and slowly, the efficiency of generation, disposal, and recycling is increasing due to the newly created biohybrid nanites beginning to work."

"The estimated completion time for the production of the 10 trillion nanites is 103 hours and 43 minutes with constant supplementation to meet the increased energy consumption, Goshujin."

"Understood, C2. Is it possible to decode and digitize the memories of the current body?"

"Yes, the neuronal scanning and monitoring modules are 100% functional. However, without neural maintenance nanites, it's not safe for indefinite decoding due to the wear from unrestrained use of neuronal and encephalic stimulation. Additionally, the energy consumption would delay the exponential nanite production by about thirty hours according to estimates."

"Understood, however, try to decode the memory visualization by comparing it with the ones I already have from the previous body. This should skip most of the decoding time."

"Understood, Master."

So, the researcher and the AI worked together to quickly decode the memories from the moment the young man harvested the magical herb to the moment he consumed it, enhancing the accuracy of the recollections of what happened.

Meanwhile, the new Arrgon Yeager was focused on raiding his cabin's pantry, preparing meals, eating, and drinking, without stopping to appreciate the rustic beauty of the pine wood cabin with bamboo tile roofing that slightly resembled bones. Furniture made of the same bamboo or dark oak wood filled the space.

The fireplace oven was made of black stones and white mortar, adorned with copper, cast iron, and clay pots and pans, with some porcelain containers bought from traders who come and go from the Asian regions crossing the border towards the principality's capital.

Decoding memory... 33%, 66%, 99%, 100%, playback initiated.

In the memory, the young man was walking with his hunting and gathering group in the volcanic region bathed in ash and thermal waters all year round.

Twelve young knight apprentices carried supplies while the leader, a middle-aged man, carried a huge bow on his back and a five-foot-long steel javelin resting on his shoulder.

Five other older men kept guard around the group of knight apprentices.

The volcanic region is an area that begins from a volcano over fifteen hundred kilometers from the border city where young Arrgon lives, in an area with a radius of about a thousand kilometers, with the nearest edge nearly four hundred kilometers from the city. The volcanic region is bathed and allegedly "nourished by the earth's fire and thermal waters", causing it to produce many superfoods and rare herbs, as well as containing various powerful beasts and monsters said to inhabit the inner circle of the volcanic region.

These factors attract thousands of explorers every year in search of rare resources for martial arts practice that abound in the region.

Since the hunting group wasn't particularly powerful, the strongest member was the leader who had power comparable to a common knight (second realm of martial arts) despite being an initiated knight who failed to advance to the knight level due to his age.

So the group was limited to scouring the outer areas of the volcanic region, where the dangers were still manageable.

Still, dozens of beasts were seen every day, and it was possible to hear roars and screams echoing between the valleys and mountains, some of which sent shivers down the spine even of the most fearless, signaling the possible monstrous origin of the creatures.

The common fauna and flora were also exotic, with trees with black bark and sparse orange and reddish leaves due to the winter being the most common, growing three meters apart from each other throughout the damp soil that had a blackened color with pale layers of volcanic ash. Bluish-green grasses covered the entire area with sunlight.

In places where the vegetation was dense enough to create shade, varieties of mosses and fungi grew, covering tree trunks and their roots, as well as the surface of stones and fallen dead wood. Insects and arachnids of all sizes could be seen hiding in dark crevices, on huge webs, or collecting food from plants and fungi.

Even with winter approaching, the whole area seemed to be teeming with vitality, as if the fauna and flora were being stimulated by biological metabolism catalysts.

It was in this magical place that...
