It's difficult to think straight. I need to savour his attention; he'll soon take it away and I need to remember every little detail. I press my nose to his skin and inhale his scent. It is imprinted in my soul. I can't begin to imagine how I'll be without him. I'm going to feel so lost.
Somewhere along the lines, the resentment I have fizzles out. Something sprouts in its place. I'm not sure whether it is attachment or fondness.
I don't understand why, but now when I'm seeing the alpha that's straddling me, watching him trail kisses all over my body, I don't see the asshole mafia rogue who pisses me to infinity. I don't even see the entitled Sasha who forced me into this arrangement with no option but death had I refused his offer.
I just see Sasha.
