"Let's leave the discussion for tonight," I say at once. "Give Miles time to mull it over, eh? There's no rush. I can stay in here another few nights."
Tyler turns his irritation onto me. "You're the one who wanted to get this figured out. So let's figure it out."
Miles and I exchange a glance that Tyler intercepts this time.
"What?" he asks suspiciously.
"What is it?"
Miles clears his throat. "Well, Boss, there's one more property you hold that could be—"
"Enough," I break in. "We can deal with it tomorrow."
"No," Tyler insists. "I want to know what Miles was going to say. What the hell is going on between you two? And if you tell me it's Family business, I'll fucking end you both, I swear."
