Chapter 9 - Main Story Compassion part8

"Yipe"

"Ugh"

I don't know if it's because I'm a demon or not, but I'm going crazy. Like a running bull, I swung my bayonet at my enemies without stopping, and just like that, my body and armor were stained with black blood.

"Yipe"

"Ugh"

Suddenly, the clouds that had completely covered the clear sky began to shed tears, and the tears they shed soon soaked my body and armor. As I frantically swung my bayonet, I saw the enemy general commanding his soldiers on the hill, and together with the two of them, we drove our horses wildly towards the enemy general.

"Yipe"

"Ugh"

Countless enemy soldiers blocked our path, but in the face of our fierce force, they fell like out-of-season flower petals, and only after we had cut down so many enemy soldiers did we stand in front of the enemy general.

The enemy general glared at me with eyes that seemed to have forgotten all fear and did not retreat an inch, and I swung my bayonet to strike him in the neck. My bayonet touched his neck as he stared at me with those same unwavering eyes.

Another enemy soldier appeared between me and the captain, clutching a long spear in each hand. With a quick and precise swing of his spear towards my chest, the suddenly appeared enemy soldier's spear pierced through my armor like a lie and touched my chest.

"Ugh"

I let out a scream from the foreignness and excruciating pain I soon began to feel, and I slowly looked around, clutching the spear with both hands, no longer moving since it had pierced

my body. The two men who had shared the battlefield with me crossed their arms and sneered at me, as did the enemy general. I slowly looked at the enemy soldier. His eyes and face were already distorted with madness and murder, and he sneered at me again and again.

Soon, a steady, thick rain began to fall from the sky. Thunder and lightning began to strike without warning, and the enemy soldier slowly lifted me up with a spear thrust into the and slowly lifted me up. Were those tears of blood streaming from my eyes? The enemy soldier's gaze Everything I looked at was red.

I looked up at the moon high in the sky, and as I stretched out my hand, an intense beam of light from the sky The sun began to descend rapidly and I slowly closed my eyes. A tranquil silence enveloped me and I left my anxious mind behind and opened both my eyes open. I found myself in thick darkness with not even a single ray of light in sight. I was floundering in a thick darkness where I couldn't see a single ray of light. Eyes closed.

I was once again trapped in a stunned silence. I kept my eyes closed, not wanting to see myself still floundering in the darkness.
