Quintus had some work to do that's why he didn't accompany them. Flavia didn't eat lunch and shut herself in her room. Juli had her lunch in silence and went to the library.
She wanted to read something to clear her thoughts. She decided to read something about the greetings. She took another kid's book to her room.
She started to read it, but her brain was numb. She couldn't understand a single word. She shut the book and went for a walk.
Juli felt guilty but it was the best she could do. She lay on the grass. She covered her eyes with her arm and said, "I did nothing wrong."
"Yes, you did nothing wrong. It was inevitable. Flavia must know about it. I should have told her, but I was late.", Quintus said. He was standing behind Juli.
Juli uncovered her eyes and looked at him. She tried to sit. Quintus helped her. He also sat with her.
"I know. I'm not wrong but I'm still afraid for Flavia. It should have been better to prepare her beforehand. We acted in a hurry.", Juli told Quintus.
"You don't have to worry. Flavia is a strong person. She will handle it.", Quintus spoke.
"Are you sure about it? She wouldn't harm herself.", Juli asked.
"Harm herself?? What are you talking about?", Quintus questioned.
"Well, she is your sister, and you know her better. But Livia had a prophecy. She had seen Flavia committing suicide. That is the reason she indulged herself in the forbidden magic and summoned me here.",
Juli half lied because she didn't want Quintus to know that his sister had already killed herself once and Livia had turned back the time.
"That is impossible.", Quintus said. He was shocked. "My sister, My Flavia will never do this."
"But Livia had told me. I'm sorry. Pull yourself together. We need to save Flavia.", Juli tried to encourage him.
"I'll kill Lucius and Domitia. You are lying.", Quintus said.
"It's up to you whether you want to believe me or not.", Juli stated.
"What is all this happening? We were happy just three days ago and now. Livia is also not here.", Quintus was almost crying. A few tears fell too but he tried to stay strong.
Juli patted his head. Quintus laughed and said, "You know why I realized you were not Livia?"
"Because I patted your head.", Juli guessed.
"No, it was the second clue. The first clue was your eyes. Livia's eyes were always full of life. There was a distinct shine in her eyes.", Quintus uttered.
"So, what did you see in my eyes?", Juli asked.
"Lifeless, your eyes are lifeless. Someone who is tired of a long journey and wants to rest.", Quintus declared.
Juli was unable to say anything. She only nodded because it was true. But she was not shocked after her eye's critical analysis. She was more amazed that Quintus had realized after the first sight of her that she was not Livia.
She was lowkey jealous as well. "Why did I never have such a lover? Why", she thought. But her life's problems were not the concern.
"Livia will be back. She will be. After her wish is fulfilled.", Quintus asked.
Juli was hesitant to answer this question, but she replied instantly because she didn't want to become suspicious, "Yes after I grant her wish. When will we give Flavia a happy ending? She will be back."
"We have twenty-eight days left now to get Livia back. We can't be late.", Juli said this with a smiling face while standing. She offered her hand to Quintus to help him get up.
Quintus realized something was wrong. But he took her hand and said, "Livia was right-handed unlike you."
Juli realized that she had offered him her left hand. Now I know. Why did you become a chancellor at this age? You are very sharp. You should be a detective. You've excellent observation. You observe everyone like this or Livia is an exception.", Juli teased him.
Quintus' face got red. "Where are we going?", Quintus asked because Juli was dragging him.
"We are going to save Flavia and Livia.", Juli replied.
"Huh..."
"We are going to meet Flavia. We can't leave her alone.", Juli said while hitting on Quintus' forehead. "My beautiful boy is so innocent."
"I'm not your boy.", Quintus declared.
"I'm not even interested in younger guys. I'm a lady with high morals. I don't like to snatch other's guys.", Juli told him.
"Younger boy?? Are you not of the same age as Flavia? You lied to us.", Quintus asked.
"You believed me!", Juli said.
"Were you lying?", Quintus asked.
"I'm a lady and a lady lies about her age. It is not a big deal. Don't get so serious.", Juli said innocently.
"What else did you lie about?", Quintus asked. He was serious this time.
"Hmm... Maybe you'll learn about it someday.", Juli replied.
"Did you also tell us a lie that Livia will be back?", Quintus asked with the same puppy face.
Juli couldn't resist patting his head again and said, "I can never lie about it. She will be back for sure. I assure you."
"And what will happen to you?", Quintus asked.
Juli was shaken after hearing this. "Did I mishear? Are you worried about me? Is my beautiful boy really thinking about me? But don't think about me. We can never be together. We are not meant to be together. I'll break your heart.", Juli rambled.
"You are giving me a headache. It is fine. If you don't want to answer me.", Quintus said.
"Oh, my beautiful boy! You are a genius.", Juli said smugly.
"I've told you. I'm not your boy.", Quintus said exasperatingly.
"Yes, you are not but you still resemble someone. Who was my beautiful boy once.", Juli said sadly.
Quintus felt bad and realized that Juli was also alone in this world. She didn't have anyone to rely on.
"Ok, you can call me this.", Quintus said timidly.
Juli was happy after hearing this, but she wanted to tease him more. She had discovered a new hobby of her.
It was teasing Quintus. She started to squeeze his cheeks and ramble about how he cared for her. He wanted to stop her, but it was the first time someone had treated him like a kid.
