Juli tried her best not to pay attention to the three of them. Because she was unfamiliar with Livia's way of living and talking. Whenever she opened her mouth, she was creating more problems for herself. So, she thought it was better to shut my mouth.
After lunch, Flavia and Quintus left the hall together and said they were busy. Before leaving Flavia hugged Juli. Lucius and Juli were left alone. Lucius broke the silence and said, "We'll meet you in the Curia Sulla's main garden at noon."
Juli said, "We? Oh ok." She remembered that he was talking about their previous discussion. But the real problem for Juli was the venue. She had no idea about this Curia Sulla. Maybe she had heard that name before, but her brain was not good at remembering the important things.
Juli farewelled Lucius. She thought that she needed to go library again to read about Curia Sulla. She wanted to ask someone, but she had already become a joker after asking the librarian about the books of wreaths. No doubt she had used the education of Flavia's future kids as an excuse. But how long can lame excuses last?
There were also no carriages in the city. She was helpless. Because it was her official first day in this world and she had only 29 more days left. But she had no clue what to do.
In all this amidst, she was sitting on the floor and watching the garden. She wished if she was going to be reborn it would have been better to be a snail. But she also felt horrific about the idea of being a snail and getting squished under the feet of a kid.
While she was pitying herself. Someone hugged her from behind and shouted, "Surprise!"
Juli looked back and found Flavia standing there. She said, "You must be getting bored without me. Am I right?"
Juli thought about how she should handle these sparkling eyes. But it was true that she was getting bored. She replied in a sad monotone, "Yes, I was."
Flavia's eyes widened like she had seen a ghost. But she changed her expression again and said, "Then, let's spend our day together. We'll remember our old days."
Juli had found herself in a tight situation. But she tried to think optimistically and thought it would be a great opportunity to learn more. This could have also got to know about this Curia Sulla.
Juli agreed. Flavia took her to another garden. It was more spacious, and beautiful and it had a beautiful white mermaid figure fountain in the center. Juli touched it and thought that it should be made up of Carrara marble, it was marble famous because of its pure white color.
Juli remembered that extra information from her past memories. But she hadn't regained Livia's memories yet. Flavia said, "You remembered. We used to read books here. You had never liked to read books."
Juli smiled and nodded. She said, "I don't remember it. Maybe I'm getting older." Juli already knew that she was a bad liar. She thought it would be better to not tell any more lies after her failed flattery technique during lunch.
Flavia said, "Oh my. How could you remember we were kids at that time?" She was laughing but she murmured, "It would have been better if you had remembered it."
Juli was standing close to her and heard everything. She felt guilty but she was not the one to blame. After all, it was Livia's own decision to sacrifice herself. She was nothing more than a substitute.
Flavia was holding Juli's hand but both of them were silent during their walk. No one had spoken a single word. Flavia had a similar distrustful expression as Quintus. Juli also realized that these siblings must have known something, but she didn't ask anything.
They walked and then decided menu for dinner and gave instructions to the chefs. Flavia was doing document work. Juli also helped her with this. Juli was getting irritated because of this silence, and she asked Flavia, "What do you think about Lucius?"
Flavia was taken aback by this peculiar question. She replied, "You already know that he is going to be my future husband."
Juli said, not this. I'm asking you do you have any feelings for him. I mean do you love him?"
Flavia looked confused and said, "I respect him and yes I do like him."
Juli asked again, "I'm asking do you love him?"
Flavia said, "I don't know and why are you asking these questions?"
Juli replied, "I wanted to confirm one thing." Juli wanted to know the actual reason behind Flavia's suicide. She wanted to know why she exactly committed suicide after knowing the reality. She didn't even think about her family and friends.
Juli looked at Flavia again. Her face was red. She was blushing. It was clear that she loved Lucius, and she didn't want to hurt him and committed suicide. Juli thought that both of us were the victims of the one-sided love and ended up dying. But Juli wasn't in love with anyone. She was just a victim of one-sided obsession.
Juli shook her head to forget about her past and focus on the present situation. She also didn't want to see Flavia dead. But she also didn't want to see her in an unhappy marriage. She wanted a solution without hurting anyone, but it was impossible to achieve anything by making everyone happy.
After that, Quintus came and the three of them had dinner in silence. Juli came to her room. She was tired and wanted to sleep. She lay on her bed for some time. Then stood and moved toward her study table. She realized that someone had touched these things. She thought maybe a maid had cleaned it.
She opened her diary. The pages started to flutter because of the strong wind. The window was opened. Juli said, "I've not opened it. There must be something wrong. Firstly, these books were disarranged, and now this window."
