"Fine dad. I understand." Ashley said as her father left the room. 'It was a miracle that he didn't find his hoodie or ask about it.' She thought as she was now alone.
She thought about Andrew as how he would feel the coldness of the rain considering he had to walk the way back before he came onto a bus. 'I do feel quite guilty my Andy but fret not, it's only a matter of time.'
She thought as she recalled what she had talked about with her father. The content was about her to never establish any form of contact with Andrew and forget him completely.
Her father would treat her to a day which the two would spend some quality time together. She wasn't as thrilled but she faked it to avoid any complications with him.
"Let's see what he's doing." She muttered as she put on his green hoodie, snuggling up in her warm comfortable bed as she recalled the way she would cuddle up with Andrew creating a sense of longing.
She took out her phone and with Andrew on the top of the list made the call.
...
Andrew wasn't as lucky like Ashley to be in a warm comfortable bed as she would listen to the calming ambient sound of the rain but rather he was drenched in water from head to toe not to mention that he had to relinquish his car to Henford.
However this won't disturb his financial numbers as they seemed to thrive with each day. For a rainy afternoon,he headed towards the closest bus station and along the way,he received a call.
"You alright?" Ashley asked. "Because I hope the rain didn't make you suffer as much." She comforted him however he was fine, just that his body was wet. "I'm okay however it would have been better if I had my hoodie."
He retorted as he saw the environment start to get a more familiar. He took a drop off the park and decided to walk the rest of the way back to his home.
"My dad has told me that I should stay away from you and try to forget you but that is not happening. So how are things with your mother?" She asked expectant to hear that she was mad.
"I haven't reached home yet but I know that she is going to be mad." He joked as he made a corner. "... Andrew...I know that you won't believe this but..." She hesitated.
She was pondering whether to tell him about her skill choosing to surprise him but she abandoned the idea."Nevermind. I'll meet you next week." She said as she rolled around in her bed.
"Knowing my mom, having my phone let alone stepping outside will be a miracle so next week could prove trouble. I'll talk to you in possibly the week after." He said as he saw his home.
"Seriously, that bitch but a bitch is a bitch. You should invite me over sometime." She joked. "Actually I want the two of you to have some time to bond so the week after, I'll have you come over for supper. Love you." He finished off. "Love you too,my Andy."
After that call,he pocketed his phone before expelling all the water on his body making him look absolutely fine, without a single patch if water on him.
'She'll be mad, might as well abuse this to my pleasure.' He thought as he came upto the driveway. The reason why he pushed the interaction date between him and Ashley was actually to give himself time to strengthen the other two ladies.
He was about to deal with them later in the week but now,he had something else on his plate. 'It's a week since Ashley had used that ability and now, she'll be the wiser on which target to pick as she's not stupid.'
Andrew knew that she was a psychopath but a reasonable one like him. "Alright, lts get this bullshit out of the way." He thought as he opened the door. Upon entry,he stumbled upon a very expected sight.
His mother was waiting for him seated at the dining room table to which he didn't announce his arrival but rather went straight to his room.
"Andrew, hand over your phone. Right now!" She ordered to which he complied as he put it on the table. "Andrew, from this day forth,I forbid you from seeing that despicable lady."
He didn't care as much but rather went straight to his room. Lucy sighed as she watched his back before hearing the door slam shut. 'What is wrong with him?'
For her, thus sudden shift in behavior did seem quite off as she never anticipated that he would be like this. Even if it is the rebellious phase of adolescence which if she recalled,he never seemed to show it. 'Looks like it is coming now.'
After that,a few days passed as the two would usually talk hours on end. As for his phone, the one he gave his mother was a copy multiplying his own phone with Overwrite.
...
On a regular Monday morning as he was ready to go outside, his mother stopped him.
"I think it's about time that you started investing in something more useful. You remember Mr Jackford who lives down the street,he has a couple of tasks for you to do. Don't even think of skipping this!" She warned as she left for work.
This didn't affect him as he made his way over there. He had blue sweat pants,a teal shirt. It wasn't that long of a walk and in a short time,he arrived at his destination.
*Knock*
He knocked the door multiple times and to his surprise,it wasn't Mr Jackford who answered it but his wife,Mrs Ember. "Hello, Mrs Ember. My mother told me to come over and do a couple of tasks for you."
He said as his eyes roamed her background and her body. 'Voluptuous, I'll say but a shame that this beauty remains untouched.' He thought.
She had beautiful golden eyes which shined along with her faded golden hair which reached her waist. She had a gorgeous face making any man pause for a second and admire her.
Her mounds were protruding as if they cried out for help for someone to keep them company along with her butt which threatened to tear her garments. She had a mature charm and calm temperament that he thought Ashley would take a couple of pointers.
"You're going to manipulate her, aren't you?" Hedonism spoke in his head. "Don't you think so little of me." He shot back however the temptation was building up. "Right, Jackford may not be here but I'll tell you the tasks you'll do." She said in an alluring voice as she handed over a piece of paper.
He scanned the list before putting it down. Ember welcomed her insides and it was clear that they were doing better in life.
"I do recall that you have a child, right?" He said as he sat down on the comfy sofa. "Yeah,Percy, he's twelve years old but he's in school at the moment."
Andrew saw that one if his tasks was picking Percy up from school but he had plans and he wasn't planning on deviating from them. He stood up as he walked towards the kitchen where she was preparing a snack.
"Do you want some juice?" She asked innocently but he didn't reply as he stood opposite of her.
*Snap*
With a snap of a finger,he could do whatever he wanted with her but this wasn't his objective. "There are some people who will come over and do these tasks for me. You'll notify my mother that it was I who did it." His voice containing some form of authority rang throughout the air.
"Very well." She said flatly as Andrew then proceeded to leave. He spotted some random people which he manipulated them to do his bidding. He could snap his fingers or not but he liked snapping them.
For him,it acted as a trigger but he could do it with a matter of thought but that would be less interesting. He called a taxi and traveled to another part of the city.
...
"Sister, where did you get all this money to cover my treatment?" The sound of a faint voice rang through the air. He was diagnosed as deathly ill and had no hope of survival as they were orphans so financial backing wasn't on the table.
As for relatives, they were all abroad or too far to contact but even they didn't offer any help to them so they could only sort it out themselves. His sister was trying her absolute best to cover for the fee but it was clear that it wasn't enough.
Hope for him seemed bleak but suddenly overnight, she turned up with a lot of money which was able to not only cover their medical expenses but also any debt she went in to cover for the fee.
In a room barely with people who care to see him as he was recovering, even they were curious. Perplexed as of how she made so much money in a single night. Yvette was the center of attention as she sat on the bed in their home.
Earlier it was terrible but now, with a few upgrades was better to live in. Her friends who offered her a helping hand with her struggles wanted to know as well. "Did you sell your soul or what?" Hugh joked.
*Smack*
"Ow!" He cried as a hand hit his back head with full force. He was a friend of hers who would liven up the place. "How can you be so insensitive Hugh? Don't mind him and continue." The voice of a girl boomed called Linda.
"Well... it's complicated but do you remember that incident with the cube which resulted to the death of a lot of people." She started off, hesitant. "Yeah,we remember." Hugh said with a trace of curiosity in his tone.
"I was one of the few who managed to escape alive along with two other people." She said in a low tone. She knew that she couldn't expose him because she was wary of what he would do.
"That gamblers den? A lot of bloodsport activities would take place there that's why the police decided to take it down but unlucky for them, the merciless Telekinetic Terror was there and killed everyone." Anita said grimly.
"You're telling me that you fought, killed and won that life-threatening game. I didn't know you had that kind of fire in you. To think that you'd be able to claim someone's life is shocking." Hugh said even though he found it quite odd.
"I didn't kill anyone but my teammate did and he was damn good at it. The nauseating stench of blood, the guts spilling all over, the dreary screams of agony plague me every single time I recall that night." She said gloomily.
"But that doesn't explain how you got the money." Linda said. She thought that she was lying by bringing this topic be but now,she seemed that she wasn't.
"Well after we won,my teammate and I left after claiming the money. But as soon as we had left,it was then than the building collapsed killing everyone. And it was then that I saw him,the Telekinetic Terror. He was masked as he floated in the night sky as he flew down to where I was along with an unconscious girl."
"He threw her at me and gave me and my teammate a lot of money saying that he wanted us to take care of us to which we did immediately. He then said that he didn't care what we did with the rest of the money so adding it all up,I got upto 15 million in a single night."
She finished off however she wasn't sure whether her friends would believe it. She thought that they'd ask why he didn't kill them but it seemed that they didn't focus on that right now.
"I can't believe that you would endanger your life for me, big sis." Desmond said as he was on his bed holding her sister's hands. "It was lucky that he didn't kill you." Linda said.
*Knock-Knock*
The sound of a knock permeated through the air. Seeing Yvette busy with Desmond,Hugh went to open the door.
"Hey, Yvette. Do you know a guy called Andrew?!"
