The class quieted down, and the instructor continued. "Now, before we begin, I'd like to ask each couple to introduce themselves and let us know how long you've been together."
One by one, the couples in the class began to introduce themselves. There were some who had been together for years, some who were newlyweds, and some who were just starting out in their relationship. Finally, it was Dominic and Arette's turn.
Dominic rolled his eyes, silently cursing Chef Daniel for making them go through this cheesy introduction. But he knew he had to play along, so he spoke up with a charming smile.
"Hello, everyone," Dominic said, his voice loud and clear. "My name is Dominic Ferrari, and I'm the Chairman of FR Construction. And this-" he gestured towards Arette "-is my significant other, Arette."
