That evening, Arette was finishing up her dinner, alone in her room. Mrs. Wolfe, Sabrina, and April had come and gone, leaving her to eat in peace. After a few bites, April appeared carrying a small cup with a familiar green pill.
"Time for your medicine," April said, setting the cup down on the bedside table.
