Arette entered Dominic's bedroom, still buzzing from her morning dose of Euphoralax. She spotted Dominic getting dressed for work and didn't hesitate to skip over to him and throw her arms around him in a tight hug.
Dominic was startled for a moment, but then a slow smile spread across his face. He hugged her back, feeling a surge of satisfaction. "Well, well," he said, still holding her close. "Someone's in a good mood this morning."
It had been three days since Arette and Garette moved from the apartment to Dominic's mansion, and Arette was happier, mainly because of the Euphoralax drugs Dominic had her using day and night. Even Mrs. Wolfe, who never liked Arette, was now beginning to tolerate her.
