Matthew leaned forward, his expression serious. "Sir, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm afraid she already hates you."
Dominic's pupils dilated. He hadn't expected Matthew to break the truth to him so bitterly. Even though he had this thought at the back of his mind, Matthew just laid the truth bare to him.
"You can't just assume that." Dominic knew at this point, he was just being delusional.
"Chairman, this is not an assumption. I wouldn't say it's a fact because we can't be one hundred percent sure of a person's feelings, but on the logical side, which I know you prefer, no woman would ever fall for a man who took her away from her family, then went as far as to forcefully impregnate her and threaten to kill her. I know you, Chairman. You weren't bluffing when you told her you would kill her, and she must have felt it too."
Matthew paused, then continued, "Miss Arette doesn't love you and she never will."
