Rikuro's POV:
After that whole ordeal, I stood up from my chair and asked Allester.
Riku: "My hearing is impaired isn't it?"
Allester then nodded his head showing that my guess was right.
Riku: "Could magic heal it?"
Allester then nodded his head again.
Riku: "Are there any magicians here"
Allester then shook his head left and right
'It seems I'll be deaf for a while..'
After asking Allester my questions, the swordsman then took some paper from the table and wrote.
[My name is Eobard, the Captain of the guards here.]
Riku: "Nice to meet you, Eobard."
I shook his hands and then he put down the paper. Allester was already on the stairs to go up and so we followed him.
I was in the middle while Eobard was behind me.
After opening the door, Allester invited me to go to his personal office to read his books to learn more about this world. Some of the guards that were guarding his home were chatting, it's supposed to be loud, but I could only hear their tone, not their words.
Eobard didn't follow me as he now had work as the captain of the guards.
When me and Allester were walking to his office upstairs he stopped before walking back to the basement. It seems he forgot something, it was probably the quill and paper.
'I wonder how that old man, cleans his beard on this medieval world..'
Muffled sounds.
'It's the only thing I can hear, that bear really messed me up, the only thing now that ruins this quietness are my thoughts'
I sighed and sat down on the stairs waiting for Allester to return. The guards down the stairs and up the stairs are still chatting, I wonder what they're talking about, is it me?
I saw Allester walk out of the door that leads to the basement. He brought his quill, paper and ink.
'This old man is strong.. doesn't he need help?'
Allester now at the bottom of the stairs started to walk up meeting me in the middle.
I stood up, and followed Allester to his office. There I saw on both sides of the office were bookshelfs filled with books, the middle had a rug with a table, behind the table were a big seat, probably for Allester, stacks of paperwork were on the table, and on the right side near the bookshelf is a couch.
'Everything here looks like it's made of mahogany, and that couch.. is that made of leather'
Allester sat down on his big brown chair and showed me what he wrote.
[Read the books, and you can even learn swordsmanship from me or Eobard.]
'He's a swordsman too I guess, and isn't this office too grand for a village like this.. well it helps me so no need to think of it anymore.'
I searched the bookshelves for books to read, and I saw something that caught my interest.
[The First Summon: The Hero]
'Another tick off my Isekai list.. a hero'
The book was covered in leather, it was grand in design with bits of gold on its spine reflecting the light in the room.
Opening the book I saw that it was made in 1470 by the Eirnid Calendar. I looked at the date, I was shocked my mouth was open wide.
'EIRNID CALENDAR?! Like the one in the forest?'
I would've asked the old man but I didn't wanna bother him anymore, writing every answer must be tiring for him.
(A/N: And me.)
Flipping the page of the book, there I saw on page 1 the name of the hero.
[Eirnid]
'Now the calendar makes sense, but the forest, I still don't understand.'
I continue to read the book to better understand this world I'm in.
[The first year of the Eirnid Calendar was made when the first hero, Eirnid was summoned, he who changed the world to be better...]
[The lands were at war, humanity fought itself with empires rising and falling, due to this one man ran to the King of the now Holy Orsted Empire. He used his summoning magic to summon the first hero.]

.
(A/N: Should I make this a novel? If it reaches at least 20 texts by different peeps at the end of the novel, I'll do it.)
.
.
Allester's POV:
'This kid, he's reading the book of the first hero. He's an otherworlder like the heroes but he was summoned in the forest. Could it be that he was summoned by a summoner who didn't come to the Capital, but the possibility of that is low'
While I was doing all the paperwork I kept glancing at the kid just to be cautious.
'If he were to be known by the Royals.. nothing like this has ever happened.'
'It would be better to find what's going to happen in the next 5 years.. would a hero summon.. if not, then I have to give the kid to the royals. The Necro King's army needs to be pushed back.'
The kid kept asking me things about the hero Eirnid though most of his questions are about the summoning.
'Makes sense for him to ask questions about the summoning magic.'
On those questions I gave him the same answer.
[Read the Books of The Heroes]

It seems the kid likes to read, he hasn't put down the book of the First Hero.
'Training him shall be the first thing he should do after reading.'
Rikuro's POV:
'Well that book was awesome! It could be a light novel and I swear it will get a manga and anime adaptation.'
I stand up from the couch putting the book back to where it was.
'The old man kept saying something about a Book of The Heroes, is that like a summary of all the heroes, how many heroes have been summoned, heck what year is it even?'
Well, I found out what year it is on the Eirnid Calendar, the old man wrote [1497].
'Wow the person or god who summoned me here didn't wait for it to be a round number, how unsatisfying.'
I looked around the bookshelves to look for the 'Book of The Heroes', and there I saw it.
It wasn't grand or anything in terms of look, but it still has that golden aura, it can't be because of the small gold color on its' spine never, it was fate.
I took the book of the bookshelf and looked at it.
[Book of The Heroes]
'I can still read more, the sun isn't even down yet.'
I looked at my watch and saw it at 4 am, I totally didn't forget about my watch. Why didn't they take this too?
(A/N: (• ▽ •;) yep, I totally didn't forgot)
The old man wrote to me.
[That thing can it tell the time? I saw the numbers on it, if it is, a very peculiar device it is.]
Riku: "Oh yeah, don't know why y'all didn't take it but it helped me out to tell the time."
The old man just nodded and went back to doing boring paperwork, truly the bane of humanity.
'Well then, let's read.'
I lay back on the couch and open the first page.
