Ethan followed the old man through the village, navigating the narrow, winding paths between the dilapidated houses.They arrived at an empty house on the outskirts of the village, its walls weathered and its roof sagging. The old man pushed the creaky door open and gestured for Ethan to enter.Inside, the house was sparsely furnished, with only a few pieces of worn-out furniture.The old man motioned for Ethan to sit at a rickety table, then took a seat opposite him. For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the distant sounds of the village."My name is Horace," the old man finally said, his voice low and gravelly. "I've lived here for longer than I care to remember."Ethan nodded. "Ethan," he replied. "I'm here to find a way to the next Floor," he said straight to the point.Horace sighed deeply, the sound filled with years of unspoken burdens.
