Chapter 50 - Through The Rock

Twenty stone creatures emerged, their bodies hewn from granite, limbs chiseled and unyielding. Eyes like amber glowed within their stone faces.

The creatures moved slow. Their footsteps causing the ground to tremble slightly. Their forms were quiet big, standing at least seven feet tall with broad shoulders and limbs heavily muscled with rock and Aether.

Ethan summoned his Twin Blades once more, their edges glinting in the light. Irene gripped her daggers tightly, their blades reflecting the same eerie glow. The Zephyr Boots she wore shimmered with latent energy as she readied herself for the impending battle.

"Twenty of them," Irene whispered, her voice barely audible over the low rumble of the approaching creatures. "I know you can handle them on your own, but give me a few to deal with."

Ethan nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Alright. Use your speed to your advantage."
