Although the wind magic failed, Jason knew that the beast would try that again and then quickly summoned a cloud of tear gas between them. The beast tried to resist that but soon was forced to jump away, and its nose began to twitch involuntarily.
Instead of letting the beast escape, Jason transformed his weapon into the Infinite Grapnel Gun and then grabbed one of the claws of the beast and pulled toward the cloud.
With the beast groaning in annoyance and struggling against the tear gas, Jason used the moment to launch a lethal attack. As he maintained his grip on the Infinite Grapnel Gun with one hand, he channeled his wind magic into the other, shaping it into a sharp, concentrated spear of air.
