Above ground, assaults from the minotaurs were a constant risk. The Minotaurs will have the advantage agianst low numbers, catching the group off guard. Below, the labyrinth's depths were filled with hidden dangers—traps, ambushes, and possibly other hostile creatures drawn to the maze's dark confines.
"Let's look for the survivors. We can work with them in decreasing the number of the enemies without falling inside the labyrinth or being captured," Gustavo said. "This will be hard, but it is our best option."
The group figured out that the area that the minotaurs were moving was also above the labyrinth, so they just had to keep their distance to some extent. With that in mind, they began to circle around the area while being guided by the scouts.
