Debris and shrapnel flew in every direction, the force of the blast sending shockwaves rippling through the area. As the smoke cleared, Jason emerged from his cover, his heart pounding with adrenaline. He scanned the area, searching for his attacker, but they had vanished into the shadows.
"Do you think that this would be enough to escape?" Jason asked. "Think again, asshole. I will definitely get you!"
Jason charged toward the pile of rubble that the enemy had been a moment ago and then jumped on it. He quickly jumped once again to survey the area and then found a shadow in the corner of a block.
With large steps using his brute strength, Jason approached it, and then when he reached the corner of the block, he saw a bunch of people armed with guns pointing at him… they began to fire.
