Looking around, he was in what seem like a forest full of trees. Adrian looked up seeing the sun which he dreaded having no effect on him a smile curved on his lips.
"Miss Crullar is really powerful," Adrian thoughts as he stare at the beautiful ring on his finger in awe.
He opened the box beside him and saw an id card which holds his passport and home address.
"Okay, let find home first," Adrian said as he stood up. He dusted his long black robe before setting off wandering in no particular dire tion till he reached a stream.
Seeing his reflection he was shocked, his fangs were not their usual size, they were normal and so is his claws. His fiery red hairs had been replaced by black. He looks no different from a normal human, at least to his imagination of human.
He have never seen a human before, only from stories his mother told him that where he got a small grasp of their looks.
"Can this get anymore awkward?Adrian asked himself massaging his jaws.
Continuing his journey, Adrian finally came out from this never ending forest and luckily ran into a strange looking thing which moves really fast.
He waved at it causing it to stop. "Taxi, do you have where you want to go?" A man who looks like he is in his late fifties said stroking his long beard.
Looking at the man, Adrian was stunned. He just ran into his first human.
"Do you have where you wanna go?" The man asked again sounding annoyed. He just pulled over by a prank of this teenager.
"Where I want to go?" Adrian asked himself as he remember his main mission to find home.
"Here, can you take me here?" Adrian asked showing the man the paper that shows the address of his house.
"Yes, but it is twenty dollar," The man said.
"Twenty dollar? What that?" Adrian asked with a confused gaze.
"Are you f***king kidding me right now boy? Are you telling me you don't know what money is?" The man yelled aggressively.
"Money, I got money," Adrian said as he opened the box showing the man it content.
"Is this enough?"Adrian asked with an innocent look.
Seeing the neatly piled money a smile curved on the man's lips. "Hell yeah, get it I will get you where you wanna go in the next 20 minute," The man said hitting Adrian shoulders.
"What are you doing in the forest boy?" The man asked starting a conversation.
"I don't know, Miss Crullar pulled me into her magical portal and the next thing I appeared here," Adrian said truthfully.
"Magic portal!" The man said with a mocking laugh which confused Adrian.
"Why are you laughing?" Adrian asked.
"It just funny, magic portal don't exist," The man said.
"Of course they do," Adrian said .
"Okay, I know they exist. I was just messing with you," The man said.
Seeing how dumb Adrian is especially the way he looked at everything in dismay a mischievous smile curl on his lips. He could roughly guess that the amount in the box is over 2 million dollar.
"If he could get it from him. His life would face a dramatic turn over," The man though calculating a perfect plan while driving Adrian to his home.
"We are here," The man said stopping at the gate.
"Are you gonna call your gateman to open the gate?" The man asked.
"Gate man? What is a gate man?" Adrian asked.
"You know what..forget I asked," The man said.
"Movement detected at the gate. Please state your name," A mechanical voice said.
"Adrian," He said.
"Access granted, please come inside," The mechanical voice said as the gates opened.
Adrian entered carrying his bag under the watchful eyes of the man.
He entered the gates heading to the main house.
"Hello Adrian, My name is Alexia your Super intelligent AI. I am here to help you with whatever you need," A mechanical voice said coming from a small white ball,"
"Can you tell me where about I am and the people here?" Adrian asked.
"Surely I can do that, you are in green hills a place in LA," Alexia said.
"Oh, Okay. Who is the emperor in the human world!" Adrian asked again.
"There is no emperor in the human world only presidents who ruled their country," Alexai said.
"You just came in, why don't you refreshen and grab a meal," Alexia suggested.
"That would be great, but I don't know how to cook human foods," Adrian said scratching his head.
"That easy, take a look at the computer on the table there. You can search about varieties of dishes there," Alexia said explaining everything to him like a little toddler since he basically didn't know alphabets.
"Thanks alexia, I will put it to good use now," Adrian said after mastering how to make bacon and eyes from a YouTube video.
"Crash," A loud noise came from downstairs catching Adrian attention. He became alert since he is suppose to be the only one in the house.
He quickly rush downstairs to take a look at what is going on when he saw three men wearing mask that covered their faces.
"Give us the bag, and you don't get hurt," The one which seemed to be the leader said with an authoritative tone to scare him.
"What? No, it was given to me by the supreme one. I am not giving you," Adrian said with a sharp gaze.
"It seems you want to do things the hard way, don't blame us for hurting you," The leader aid with a head nod and the other two followed him, they readied their base ball bat which the leader hold unto a pistol gun.
"Ahhh," A loud painful voice came from the one close to Adrian before his body drop dead on the floor. Adrian who had been standing in front of them suddenly disappeared and reappeared beside him giving him a fast suck. His human disguise fell and him blood red eyes showed blood drip from the corner of his mouth making him look like a terrifying monster.
"Mon....Monster," The remaining two stutter as they looked at Adrian with shock and fear evident in their eyes. They suddenly have the urge to escape forgetting their desire for the money. What they want now was to get out of this house.
