They both turned around, left in bewilderment, to see an outraged slender lady approaching them.
A slight frown settled on Jane's face for being called a bitch by the outraged lady, who approached them now. "How could you spit such nonsense?" Jane asked, trying to sound calm.
The outraged young lady, Margot kept a scowling expression at Jane. "Does it hurt your ego that I called you both bitches when you're actually that for defaming someone else?"
"How dare you say that again? Do you know who am I?" Erica snapped, surprised that the young lady didn't recognize her to be a public figure most people love; instead, this strange lady was repeating the words disdainfully at her.
"No, I don't know you. Also, I don't care to know who you are either." Margot answered coldly.
"Ms, you can't just walk here and be rude to others. I can tell we don't know each other, and this must be a misunderstanding. Will you mind if I continue my shopping?" Jane asked.
Margot crossed her arms under her bust as she swept her gaze on them before saying in an authoritative voice. "This is not a misunderstanding, which means you can't continue your shopping, and you both have to leave right now."
Jane felt confused as the lady spoke such words with authority as if she owned the department store. "Why should you stop me from shopping here?"
"I'm done tolerating your presence here after saying such a despicable thing against Selina." Margot defends, looking upset.
"Then why did Zane divorce her if not for her infertility?" Erica cut in.
"She was never infertile. It was because there was a second woman in their marriage that had eaten his brain and left him a dummy," Margot said, staring at Jane, whose face suddenly turned pale with a shocked expression radiating her face like she was scared of getting exposed.
"Lies. There was nothing like that. Stop saying matters you don't know about when it was confirmed to be true. Not only was she infertile, she killed herself for-" Erica said firmly, but Margot interrupted her completing her claim.
"I'm not here to gossip about it or know what reason it was for Zane to divorce her, which means you both should get out," Margot ordered, stopping Erica from spitting the other rumor, which would drive her insane if it was completed.
Everyone taunted and blamed Selina this way to cover the truth behind their marriage facade, which upset Margot to the core.
These rumors made her furious when she heard them from Jane and Erica, which drove her to do something regretful to these ladies, but she restrained herself.
"What did you say?" Erica muttered in astonishment.
"You heard me right. GET OUT OF MY STORE." Margot emphasized her second words, glaring at them as she pointed to the exit.
"Ms, you don't have to be rude to your customers. Pardon Erica for saying those things, she is still young and immature." Jane said with an innocent smile, hoping the store owner would let it slide.
She was not ready to piss off the store owner because she wanted to leave with the brands she had already picked for the ceremony, which she anticipated for this summer.
She sensed this lady seemed to know something about Zane's mistress, which she didn't want to leak when the walls had ears. She did not know why the lady was furious about Selina being called infertile when there was nothing there to be this angry about.
"I can't receive such viper people like you in my store again. Your presence in my store is disgusting." Margot declared.
Erica frowned at her, still looking confused at the owner's anger. "But why are you so pissed off about the minor issue? Is Selina related to you?"
"Do I have to be related to her before I could defend her from the accusation and slanders?"
"Sorry, let the matter go. Selina is not infertile. Are you satisfied now?" Erica said but didn't look or sound remorseful about her words earlier as she rolled her eyes to the side and met an attractive shirt.
Erica moved to the shirt, took it from the clothes rack, and strode to the mirror to check its fitness on her body, but she could not take the next step as the store owner grabbed her shoulder, causing her to spin around and meet the furious store owner's eyes.
"Are you dumb to understand my words that I don't need your money, nor will you continue your shopping here?" Margot asked with a deadly stare at Erica who was furious than she had been all this while.
"This is the latest brand on my shopping list I have to get for my photoshoot tomorrow. You won't stop me from buying it!" Erica retorted, dragging the shirt from the powerful hold of the crazy store owner.
"Are you possessed by Selina's spirit or what? Why are you so strong?" Erica exclaimed in exhaustion, as the owner's strength, which appeared to be that of two people in her slender body, overwhelmed her.
"I am possessed by her spirit. She is here to take you to the netherworld for slandering her. Will you come along?" Margot requested, and a wry smile curled her lips, leaving Erica's jaw to drop as chills ran down her spine.
"You have lost it! Let go!" Erica yelled, shaking her head in frustration as she was still struggling to claim the shirt from the store owner.
"I will triple the price, so let us stop this," Jane said as she held the store owner's hand, trying to break the fight.
Margot shook her head. "No, I don't need your money. Go to another store and shop there." She said, tired of explaining herself to the stubborn ladies.
"This brand is only available at your store in the city," Jane pointed out. "Why are you being adamant about letting us shop here? Don't you know the customer service?"
Margot chuckled at the stubborn ladies and replied wittily. "To hell with your money and the customer service!"
Margot noticed Erica was exhausted from dragging the shirt with her but Erica was adamant to let go of it. She finally released the dress, causing Erica to lose her balance, and stumbled backward while she sprained her ankle, falling hard to the ground with her ass.
As Margot intentionally swung her hand up, the force sent Jane staggering backward on her high heels shoes.
Jane's eyes widened in fear, and a shock gasp escaped her lips, scared she would hurt herself the moment she lost her balance too.
Fortunately, her back stumbled on someone's arm behind her, preventing her from ending up like Erica on the floor.
