After a short pause, Zane's gaze shifted from the doorway and met Jane's intense and suspicious stare. Without saying a word, Zane headed to his room where his grandmother was.
Jane followed him unnoticed but halted at the doorway to eavesdrop.
In his room, Zane noticed his grandmother was fixing the new warm clothes on the clothes hook she had brought for him, while she removed his previous clothes.
Old Madam Morris couldn't shake the feeling that Anastasia's voice sounded similar to Selina's.
Curious, she asked Zane, who she sensed was standing behind her, "Does she look like Selina as well?"
Old Madam Morris placed the newly hung cloth into the closet's rack before turning to face Zane. She couldn't see Anastasia's actual face due to the young lady's heavy makeup.
"Yes, she looks like her but she's not Selina." Zane replied, sounding disappointed that Anastasia was different from Selina.
