The days had passed, and the Geonosians had fought hard.
Immediately after the attack the Seperatist Forces sent up 2 Core Ships, afraid of a potential invasion, but once they realised we were preparing for a siege they didn't send up another and instead sent the core ships for giver underground.
Once the Coreships exited the planet we already had 2 Valiant-Class Star Destroyers jumping in them.
Unleashing all their ion cannons, completely shutting down the electromagnetic energy empowering the shields and weapons.
Soon after 150 LAAT's were launched from each of the Valiant-Class Star Destroyers.
These were temporarily assigned to those two Valiant's, transferred from the Lucrehulks to perform quick boarding parties.
Following that the 4500 elite Royal Guards of each boarding party cut through the measly defenses hurriedly placed by the droids, getting into the Command Centre, they found Skakoans.
Quickly taking control of them they began disabling all droids and they directed the Core ship into our own formation.
Where the cargo was transferred to holds on the Lucrehulks.
Inside we found 22 million crates within it's cargo holds.
And they had done a hell of a job to stack 21 million crates to perfectly use up all of the 66 million cubic meters they had available.
The crate each was 3 meters long, 1 meter tall and 1 meter wide.
And opening one of them, we found it filled with E5 Blaster Rifle, in the end coming out to a massive 200 E5 Blaster Rifle's in each pack, coming out to a total of 4 billion 200 million Blasters! Although this wasn't definitive due to not having opened and counter everything, but I assumed to be so much.
A quick look into the other Core ship found the exact same fucking thing.
8 billion 400 million E5 Blaster Rifles, each with their own laser pack of up to 500 bolts.
If I wasn't so rich I would be extatic over being able to potentially sell all these, but now I'd rather just keep this. Give them to other planets in the Veridian Sector or close allies of me.
They would also likely be smart to keep on ships so that naval crewmen can take them up when we are getting boarded.
After all they are a lot more powerful than pistols and they are easy to carry around and use.
However that could wait, I could not safely transport the guns and therefore had to keep them in the fleets.
After that I ordered the destruction of the Core Ships.
But not the safe and usual way.
I stood on the bridge of my flagship as I looked at the Hologram of Master Yoda and Grand Marshal Gree.
"Master Yoda, have all clones forces take cover in their trenches or secure positions and the Tanks pushed into secure positions, I'll put the Droid Foundries and Factories out of control." I said.
"Hmm, do something reckless. You are." Yoda said and I smiled.
"Depends on your perspective." I said with a chuckle before Yoda responded.
"Hmm, trust you, I will. Retreat our forces, we shall."
And with that the connection cut.
"Have the cyber technicians successfully sliced the movement controls?" I asked a communications officer.
Usually it would take days and weeks to completely gain control of the ship, but we had sent all our hackers straight at the movement controls.
"Yes, sir. They're exiting the cruiser as we speak." He said and I smiled.
"Very good, send in the droids." I told him and he nodded running off.
I always found the scenes where Anakin personally sent ships into others, ramming into them.
But why would you sacrifice human life, you could just send an astromech or even potentially a protocol droid.
And you cannot possibly feel bad for killing them, it's like getting nightmares from shooting a B1.
If that happens give up, you're not meant to do anything even including physical attacks.
Either way, the way this siege had worked was quite unique really.
The factories were surrounded by large fortifications of J-2 Proton Cannons, and droid forces, they also had a small shield generator surrounding the Droid Foundries.
Meanwhile the Headquarters where all the Seperatist Command was hiding.
However the Headquarters were underground and protected by large particle shields preventing any physical energy from pushing through.
The hard ground combined with the shields would likely completely negate the suicide bombings.
But the Factories, whom were still launching droids at the time, was not as protected.
And soon after the 2 balls of destruction left orbit and headed straight for the Factories.
And what resulted was a great firework of destruction, chain explosions rang out throughout the Geonosians Fortress.
The 1st hit the middle of the factory, while the second hit it's outskirts, destroying a small B1 factory as well as blowing out part of the defensive wall.
Bowing a hole straight into it and raising a large area of the wall to the ground.
What followed was the bloodiest war of the war.
The Clone Forces ran out of their trenches, followed was 2792 LAAT/I's and 668 LAAT/c.
83 760 Clone Troopers and 668 AT-TE's by air.
The charger of 100 000 Clone Soliders by ground, supported by artillery fire and bombers.
We launched everything, and it succeeded.
The LAAT's dropped thousands upon thousands of Clones inside the walls, the shield having been shut-down by the gigantic crashes.
The Geonosians and Droid Forces scrambled to meet them, majority of them being outside.
But the charge inside was quickly halted by bombers and artillery.
And a few minutes later the even larger assault, thousands of veichles and a hundred thousand clones.
Supported by Jedi.
The inside forces wrecked chaos through the i defenses Geonosian Workers and positions.
The Geonosian did not prepare for an assault from the core, all the bunkers, and turrets facing outwards.
And the pincer from both sides proved to be way too much and the Geonosian quickly retreated into the catacombs.
The droids held out for a bit until the Jedi got into the trenches.
And the second that happened their survival was determined.
Was followed was a true show of force by the Jedi.
The droids sprang out of the Trenches, but what met them was formations of Clones waiting.
But remaining inside was even more dangerous, 600 Jedi had met up on Geonosis by that time, and 400 of them were inside the trenches.
And with that, the battle ended in Republic Victory.
But that was only a small part of the war.
Although it ended in a Republic Victory, it forced the true war of Geonosis.
The Catacomb War.
The Catacombs were terrifying.
Any Clone who went in alone never came out, you had to be in Squads to even think about surviving.
The problem with the Catacombs was that they concealed the vibration of the Geonosians wing flaps.
They released vibration, and created noise, but the problems with the catacombs was that they carried noise too well.
There was always flaps, and as such you could not discern if they were thousand of kilometres away or 1 meter.
Additionally the catacombs went straight up, straight down and the sides.
That made it so difficult to fight in them, to travel down and upwards one would need to use wires and climb them or descend down them.
Another problem was that we could not steadily clear them, we would have to spend months to even map the ones closest to the surface under the Geonosians Foundry.
A total of 5 days were fought inside the Catacombs, resulting in the loss of 20 000 Clones, following those reports and my repeatedly suggestions to fall back, the Jedi Council finally retreated.
And I sent in my own forces.
During the last decade before the Battle of Geonosis, I had repeatedly created plans, and one of my largest problems the early years was the tunnel networks.
I had never found a certain strategic move to counter them by troops, tanks, machines, bombs and other weapons
Until, after the advice of General Tyr and Admiral Trench, I began the development of a possible counter.
Toxic Gas.
The first problem was the actual gas, after 3 years of development and temporary hiring of Doctor Nuvo Vindi we developed it.
The Invisivle Gas.
It was an extraordinary feat, it was invisible.
Doctor Vindi was a genius, but a Gas would not be Gas if it did not do anything.
The Gas was simple but efficient, it went into the receivers body, and I did not quite understand it, but the simple explenation was one it entered the body, the receivers skin would become green, and release some green breath from his/her breath.
After about 30 seconds the host would simply fall unconscious and then die after 2 hours.
I focused on incapacitating the receiver as fast as possible, as does it matter if they die within 2 minutes when they can become useless in 30 seconds.
And after the total retreat, wind-machines were put into all 200 known entrances and the gas was released.
For 12 hours straight the gas was released, flowing into the catacombs.
After that the catacombs were closed, and we had 500 V-Wings, all the Z-95 Headhunters and all the bombers would be flying through Geonosis, finding open entrances to the catacombs and closing them up by the use of specialised sensors.
The gas was designed to somhow, disperse upon prolonged exposure to the sun, I do not know how, but it did.
I did not have any knowledge of chemicals, not even basic.
But by closing those known releases they couldn't even threaten anyone above, the exposed areas could potentially threaten the closest environment.
We also regularly sent droids into the catacombs, regularly sent in more gas.
The current bodies found and brought out racked up to the high 200 thousands. However, 3 droids had managed to reach deep into the catacombs, but there droid patrols were found, meaning that the Seperatist Core was likely completely safe.
But as we reached our 6th day, I knew we'd need to prepare.
Which was why I currently found myself speaking to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
"We have to send down reinforcements if we wish to hold down the Seperatist Command, my fleet cannot match the potential might of the CIS Navy, and considering all their leaders are here they will arrive within a few days." I told Palptine.
"Hmm, I am sorry my friend. The Venators are still being transferred, we cannot send you reinforcements within the next 2 weeks." Palptine said, but I knew he likely wanted us to retreat.
"Well, then I suggest a retreat, we cannot allow the Clones and current Republic Forces to be caught on Geonosis without support. I can have my fleet support the transfer back to Kamino and we can then deal with strategic movements and hyperlane defenses." I told Palptine.
He looked conflicted for a bit before deciding.
"Ah, it is most dreadful and unfortune, I'll order a retreat. Prepare the fleet, I'll inform Master Yoda." Palpatine said.
And with that the First Battle of Geonosis ended in a Republic Win, with the official reason for departure being the belief that the Seperatist Command had escaped somehow.
But all of the high command and Republic Officers knew the true reason.
