The creature seems to be glad upon noticing the look on Keitaro's face.
He knew the kind of man this man was, he would never turn down knowledge.
All that he had to do was offer him some power and he would accept it no problem, power was everything to a man.
No matter how pure they are, if given a chance at getting knowledge then they would take it.
Slowly Keitaro began to walk toward the creature, his eyes not giving away what was going on behind his eyes.
Not even for a second after Keitaro started to walk toward the being that Edgar had.
Who was well still tied to a pillar felt his heart slightly plunge in panic.
However Edgar knew his sensei well, he did not think his sensei would do such a thing.
Over the couple of weeks that Edgar had spent with Keitaro, he had made a mental image of the man.
Keitaro would not, under no circumstance accept a deal like this, he would not sacrifice human life in order for him to gain power.
This just wasn't the way Keitaro did things, he would much rather sacrifice his own life instead of sacrificing someone else for his goals.
That was something Edgar had learned when he saw that when it came to human testing for his invention, Keitaro always was the person to test it on.
He would always test them on himself.
When Keitaro was finally within hand-shaking distance from the creature, it smirked, it was very confident in its own victory.
"I knew it," the creature added, its voice dripping with satisfaction.
"A seeker of knowledge like you could never say no to the power I offer. You were destined to accept---"
Before the creature could finish its sentence.
In one single millisecond, a Rasengan was formed in Keitaro's hands, this Rasengan however looked transparent, and the Rasengan looked quite clear for a fact.
Keitaro slammed the spinning orb of energy into the creature's chest with power so strong that the floor beneath them was completely destroyed under the power of the blow.
The creature was sent flying backward, its body crashing into a stone wall with a thunderous boom.
The shockwave that was created from the impact was enough so that anyone within a 20-mile radius of the fight could have heard the huge sound.
The creature's body stood there limp, even though the creature's body looked relatively unharmed, it was on the brink of death.
That ball, that rotating ball of energy, it had not targeted its body...no it had targeted the creature's soul itself.
If he had not used curse energy to reinforce his core a second before the impact he would have been erased.
Keitaro's eyes looked quite cold and angry, his voice seemed to be laced with contempt as he looked at the creature and said.
"You captured my prodigy, interrupted my learning time, and now you think I'll just accept your deal? Who the fuck do you think I am?"
The creature looked up toward Keitaro and was not starting to realize that it could not trick this man with power.
On the other hand, it could go at its full power as its essence was essentially destroyed, he was now only living on borrowed time.
He would at best survive a few more minutes before his body disappeared...
He was going to die at this rate.
As that thought passed through its mind.
The door to the jail cell opened to reveal Alistair.
"Are you don..."The man did not finish his sentence before he noticed Keitaro looking straight at him.
"You came at the perfect time" The creature added.
Alistair felt it, the man immediately clenched his chest as the bug that was placed in his heart started to replace his heart.
Keitaro's eyes could see it well, the creature was trying to take over Alistair's body.
In an instant, he appeared infront of Alistair but not before feeling something near Edgar.
Managing to place on single seal on the man's chest, Keitaro teleported to Edgar just in time in order to make sure he wasn't hit by a point-blank blast from the creature.
Holding the boy close to his chest, Keitaro managed to teleport the boy quite a few distance away.
Upon arriving at safety, he let go of the boy.
He then started to look for any wounds on the boy.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" Keitaro asked with a curious look on his face as he looked at Edgar.
"I am fine sensei" The boy replied with a gentle smile on his face.
Upon noticing the boy was okay and did a quick[3] rct usage on the boy to make sure he was fine.
Keitaro turned his eyes around to look at the monstrosity that was before him.
That was indeed a big ass insect, with wings.
He was sure that this curse was based on a demon, the question now was which demon was related to an insect and used manipulation on humans
'Baal Zebub'
Oh...so now he went from fighting Shiva to fighting a literally Canaanite deity but considering his devil appearance, this was probably Beelzebub...one of the princes of hell.
Who was he fighting next, the embodiment of war?
Couldn't he fight the public speaking curse, he was sure that existed..but oh no, he had to fight a litteral prince of hell.
