Upon receiving the gift from Keitaro, Eleanor was now leading Keitaro through the grand entrance hall in the heart of the mansion.
They walked into a library, upon arriving inside Keitaro could see that the library was filled with books.
From the look of it, the library possessed a wealth of knowledge that Keitaro was amazed to see.
There were just so many books, he did not know a library could possess so many of them.
Eleanor moved toward a particular section of the library, and Keitaro peacefully followed after the woman.
She reached out and touched a seemingly ordinary piece of paper. Using a small needle, she managed to cut herself just enough so that the blood could fall on the paper.
The paper glowed a faint color as Keitaro witnessed three intricate seals appearing on the paper surface.
The second that he saw the seal, Keitaro immediately made a mental image of it. He could 100% replicate the seal and could probably make it better than whatever this was.
This seal looks quite bad...by his standards.
It seemed to be holding up due to some sort of binding vow and some mediocre seal.
Any good seal master could undo it...
"Follow me," She said, her voice filled with anticipation.
Keitaro listened to the woman and followed her deeper into the library, this place had picked his curiosity.
As they went further, the room seemed to expand, revealing a hidden chamber that was filled with an array of astonishing objects.
He could tell that this place was the place where they stored all their important stuff, he could see hundreds of books, each of them having unknown knowledge for Keitaro to dig his teeth into.
So much knowledge was just so exciting to the young sorcerer, there were just so many things he wanted to learn.
He saw strange machines from all over the world, it seemed like this place was a treasure for cursed items.
It was a treasure trove for a sorcerer like him.
He started to walk toward a blade that had caught his attention, the blade seemed to be encased in a glass box, probably for decoration purposes.
Under the glass box, there was a brief description of what Keitaro was looking at.
Name: Black Flash- Akatsuki no Kumo.
Country: Japan
Date: 1923
Ability: This cursed blade was forged to enhance the speed and power of the wielder's attacks, creating slashes that move with a force nearly imperceptible to the human eye. The blade can channel cursed energy, delivering devastating strikes that seem to cut through the very fabric of space.
Creator: Master Blacksmith Hachiro Aoi, known for forging weapons that pushed the boundaries of human and cursed energy fusion.
The blade seemed quite cool, however, Keitaro wanted to see more. He moved around the room before his eyes landed on a disturbing mask that was perched on a wooden pedestal.
The mask features were twisted, and grotesque, as if frozen in an unending scream.
The eyes were hollow, resembling black voids that seemed to stare back at him, drawing him into their darkness.
Name: Cursed Mask of Distortion
Country: Tibet
Date: 1805
Ability: This mask distorts the wearer's perception of reality, warping time and space around them. When worn, it creates an alternate reality in the wearer's mind, making it difficult to distinguish friend from foe, truth from illusion.
Creator: Unknown. Legends suggest it was crafted by a reclusive monk who sought to merge the material world with the spiritual realm, resulting in his descent into madness.
Continuing down the aisle, Keitaro's gaze landed on a collection of small, orb-like objects, each Huddled within a protective casing.
Name: Amplification Orb
Country: Germany
Date: 1937
Ability: This orb magnifies the user's cursed energy, exponentially increasing the potency of their techniques. However, the immense power comes at a cost, often draining the user's vitality.
Creator: Dr. Heinrich Vogel, an eccentric scientist who sought to push the boundaries of human potential through the manipulation of cursed energy.
Next to it, a soft, green orb caught his attention, its light was gentle yet quite soothing.
Name: Healing Orb
Country: India
Date: 1912
Ability: The Healing Orb emits a continuous flow of restorative energy, capable of mending wounds and restoring cursed energy. It's often used in conjunction with other cursed tools to sustain a user in prolonged battles.
Creator: Sage Amara, a healer known for her deep understanding of both the physical and spiritual healing arts.
Finally, his gaze settled on a deep, crimson orb, from what he could feel, this one should be one with a protective aura around it.
Name: Shielding Orb
Country: Russia
Date: 1889
Ability: This orb generates a powerful barrier of cursed energy around the user, capable of withstanding both physical and spiritual attacks. The shield it creates is nearly impenetrable, though it requires immense concentration to maintain.
Creator: Yuri Karpov, a legendary guardian who crafted tools to protect his homeland from supernatural threats.
Keitaro's fingers brushed lightly over the artifacts, feeling the raw power they contained.
This was basically a gold mine for someone like them.
He liked them very much.
He did get a warning from Eleanor.
None of the books can leave this area...they will vanish as soon as they leave the barriers.
And that he understood, and he was allowed to take the 3 curse tool of his will as they had agreed.
He thanked the woman from the bottom of his heart.
