Time skip.
Well, it's been a few weeks ever since Keitaro started working on domain expansion, making sure to refine his domain as much as he could with the 4 hours a day that he reserved for his training.
1 hour was reserved for him doing basic curse energy efficiency exercises, the other hour was for him working his body to the very limit.
The third hour was basically just him trying out to see the limit of his curse energy and curse technique.
Just him refining all the skills that he currently possessed, and due to him having landed around 6 black flashes take it or leave it, his control over his curse energy was basically out of this world.
His grasp over curse energy as a whole was becoming better and better, and that is why when he was practicing for his domain expansion he was able to make such a huge amount of progress.
Something else that he had done during those few weeks was introduce liquid metal to Edgar.
Sure the boy didnt seem to know what it was for at first but after some experimenting and seeing the result of it.
The boy was more than thrilled using liquid metal, his only concern was the fact that Keitaro had...around 20 liters to be exact.
When Edgar asks him why he carried so much with him, his only reply is secrets.
How he had so much liquid metal on him was a question that little Edgar couldn't wrap his head around as the last time he had checked such a huge sum of liquid metal should not have passed by airport security.
If only the little boy knew that Keitaro had used a clever trick to get his goods past security, another reason why he had so much was due to him trying to find a material he could carry around that could be used as a replacement for ink if the time came for it.
Funnily enough, curse energy seems to work like electricity in a sense ad thus that meant it could pass through the liquid quite easily and thus, the liquid metal could work as a decent replacement for ink if Keitaro were to run out of Ink for some odd reasons.
Edgar stopped questioning Keitaro at all, as the young boy could notice the huge amount of progress that he was making every single day.
He was quite giddy about all of it.
He never knew he could make so much stuff with his curse energy.
As things stood now, he was far, far stronger than he was before all of this started.
Keitaro was the best teacher that he had gotten so far, as all the teachers before him just made him do exercises and drain out his curse energy.
None of them actually took the time to help him with his problem, which was the fact that construction as a whole was a technique that suck out a lot of curse energy.
His curse energy reserve wasn't the problem.
However, all good things don't last forever.
One day as Keitaro was sipping some sweet, sweet delicacy, he was summoned by the man himself.
Alistair.
"Here you are," The man said as he handed Keitaro a piece of paper.
Keitaro looked at the paper in his hand and read the info placed on it.
"A curse energy outbreak...in Ireland?" Keitaro said as he read the last part out loud. He wondered why would he be summoned for something that was happening in Ireland.
Ireland was basically the last thing on his mind as things stood right now.
"Our land from our great ancestor is under attack," The man said in his usual noble ass voice, Keitaro however didnt care about that, they were in England so how the heck did something in Ireland need his assistance.
The only reason he was with those people was simply because they paid him to teach their son...they paid him a pretty hefty sum of cash at that.
"Consider this an evaluation," Alistair said with his usual tone of voice.
"An evaluation, you say?" Keitaro mused, his tone laced with a lot of skepticism. "For Edgar's training?" Keitaro paused, his gaze looking more firm than ever before. "I think we both know that's not the entire picture, Alistair."
Keitaro wasn't dumb by any means, anyone with a decent amount of brain cells could figure out what was happening, he didnt like being used and this man was giving him the same feeling as the higher up in Japan.
Alistair's gaze did not falter at all as he looked Keitaro in the eyes before saying "Of course, there's more to it than that," Keitaro looked deeper within the man's very soul as if to make sure he wasn't lying."But we believe this situation presents a valuable opportunity for both Edgar and yourself."
"A valuable opportunity?" Keitaro added with what seemed to be a hint of amusement coloring his voice. "Or perhaps a convenient excuse to offload a troublesome situation?"
Alistair's face remained unmoving, but Keitaro could sense the man was taken aback by his bluntness.
He probably did not know that Keitaro could read him like a book, being able to feel someone's soul along with being able to see it, really does wonders in determining their true identity. "As I said, there's more to it than meets the eye," Alistair added, his voice regaining his usual composure. "We believe your unique skills could be of great assistance in dealing with this matter."
"And since we are paying such a hefty sum for your tutelage, we want to see the result of our investments," The man said with a cold look on his face.
"Sure, can't really fault you on that, "Keitaro said shrugging a bit.
"So when is the trip" He added looking at the man.
"in 2 hours..."
