Time skip.
It's been exactly 4 days since Keitaro had made his choice on what to practice before his fight with Gojo Satoru. After he had made his decision, he spent a tremendous amount of effort mastering that skill.
Keitaro was a man who hated doing his thing halfheartedly, if he had made up his mind to do something it was either he gave his all or nothing else.
That was something that he had learned from his grandma.
Keitaro's eyes looked around the battlefield that Gojo had chosen, from what his eyes could see he could tell that this plan seemed to be barren, there were no trees around which eliminated the chances that Keitaro could use them for his tactics.
The humidity in the air however was quite high, Keitaro could feel the cool breeze of the air against his skin, he took in a deep breath as he inhaled the air around him.
This was a familiar feeling to him, the pure air around them was fueling him with energy.
As Keitaro was in his thoughts thinking about how peaceful this area was, his instinct suddenly kicked in as he felt a distortion in the air, no more like a distortion in space.
As Keitaro turned his eyes toward where he felt the distortion, Satoru Gojo was seen standing there in all his glory.
Keitaro watched as Satoru started stretching his movement being very fluid, he seemed to have a smile on his face as if he was waiting for this moment to happen.
Upon further inspection, Keitaro noticed that Satoru was wearing some very different clothing.
Instead of his usual outfit that he would wear for battle, Gojo had on a white jacket alongside some baggy white pants.
"Well, well," Gojo drawled, a playful grin on his face, "Someone seems eager to get pummeled again. Didn't think you'd be in such a hurry for another loss, Keitaro"
Keitaro's eyes narrowed upon hearing the words coming from his friend's mouth, a small smile appeared on Keitaro's face as he opened his mouth and said "Don't get ahead of yourself, Satoru," He exclaimed his voice sounding firm.
"You might have won our last spar but...It doesn't mean it will happen again"
Satoru smiled upon hearing Keitaro's words, he then removed his white jacket and tossed it on the floor, revealing what seemed to be a black shirt underneath.
Was it just him or did Satoru's current appearance reassemble a certain assassin?
"Did you steal from the assassin?" Keitaro asked with a thoughtful look on his face.
"It was a package deal," Satoru said with a smile on his face as he got into a fighting stance.
Keitaro looked at Satoru with a dry look before he too got into his fighting stance, he was not willing to let Gojo have a lead of 2 against him.
He simply refused to let that happen.
Satoru looked at Keitaro for a second before suddenly the sorcerer vanished from sight, Gojo immediately scanned the surroundings around him trying to locate Keitaro's location.
All of a sudden, 8 different kunai were thrown toward Gojo with each one of them possessing the signature seal on them.
Gojo's eyes scanned each of the kunai trying to find the one Keitaro would teleport to, The kunai that were aimed toward him stopped his infinity while the other went by him.
*Fwoosh*
Gojo heard it, that distinctive sound, the sound of the space behind him being distorted turning around nearly immediately, he was able to parry Keitaro's strike.
Keitaro threw a kick toward Satoru's head to which the man dodged out of the way before using his blue to pull Keitaro toward the floor.
Keitaro feeling himself being pulled toward the floor decided that it was in his best interest to teleport away.
In a flash of light, Keitaro vanished once more, leaving Gojo momentarily stunned and a bit frustrated. A low whistle escaped the strongest sorcerer's lips.
"You're getting good at that," he muttered as his eyes scanned the battlefield for any sign of Keitaro but to his pretty small frustration he could not find Keitaro anywhere.
Gojo's eyes seemed to widen a bit as he turned around just in time to block a kick that Keitaro had aimed to hit his head.
"Cheeky" Gojo said with a smile as he grabbed Keitaro's foot before swinging the man around and tossing him toward a nearby rock.
As Keitaro's body flew toward the rock, it vanished from a sigh, and as soon as he did so, Gojo had a red prepared just in time that he threw toward the falling Kunai that Keitaro had left behind in his earlier attempt to kick him.
"I am not that predictable Satoru" Keitaro's voice was heard saying from behind him.
Not once second after those words were uttered was Satoru sent flying toward a bunch of rocks causing rubbles to go flying everywhere.
'it took more curse energy to get by his infinity this time' Keitaro thought to himself as he looked at his fist.
It seemed as if Satoru's control over his infinity was just getting a lot better by the day.
