Keitaro was seen looking over his experiments...he had used all the paper alongside all the inks that he had brought around a week earlier or so, and he was seen sitting down with his legs crossed.
"This ain't it, "Keitaro said to himself as he looked at all his failed experiments.
His idea was not working no matter what he did, no matter how many times he fixed a problem another problem would come up and he would have to fix that too.
It was starting to get annoyingly fun, he felt like he was a programmer trying to find where there was an error in his code.
He sighed to himself a bit, he got the output thing right, he could seal the technique inside the scroll and all but something was going very wrong when the technique had to actually leave the scroll which was the purpose of the seal, to begin with.
How the heck was the seal failing with something so simple as shooting out the output needed, the input was fine.
Keitaro even eyes then went toward the countless books that were around him, he had used all those books about barriers and sealing in order to find where he had messed up but no matter what he did something was preventing him from getting there.
He sighed to himself a bit....what was so wrong with his seals, Keitaro pondered to himself, what could possibly be the reason that all his plans were failing like that.
He got to the theory part right and with his sensing skills, he could tell that everything inside the seal worked nicely.
Everything mess-up though as soon as he needed to release that energy, it seemed as if he was just missing one simple detail in order to fix the seal.
He stood up from where he was sitting, his body feeling slightly numb due to him sitting down for so long. Keitaro feeling the numbness in his body, decided to loosen up a bit, Keitaro was seen stretching his body and walking around the relatively large basement of his house.
As Keitaro walked around his basement, it suddenly hit him...Keitaro ran toward the last seal that he had made, his eyes looked over all the intricate designs of the seal.
Keitaro took in a deep breath, it was time to test out his hunch, with a calm expression on his face.
Keitaro clasps his hands together with his fingers intertwined. His forearms were kept parallel to the ground, as the left and right index and middle fingers were raised together.
As Keitaro looked at the tiger hand sign that he had made.
He suddenly sent curse energy to the seal and instantly as he did that, what seemed to be a fireball left the seal and hit the ceiling of his basement.
What seemed to be a wide grin appeared on Keitaro's face, this was it, this was what he was looking for.
A wide grin was now plastered all over his face.....but before Keitaro could celebrate any further, he smelled something burnt.
Keitaro's gaze immediately went upward toward where the fireball at hit.
As soon as he looked up, he saw it, a small fire.....in an instant a yellow flash was seen as the fire was instantly put out.
"That's better, "Keitaro said as in his hands, he seemed to be holding a water bucket, the water bucket however seemed to still be full.
Keitaro's gaze was still lighter on the area where he saw the fire, the wood was a bit burnt but just slightly though as Keitaro had managed to put out the fire before it became anything too major.
He had time to go upstair grab a water bucket come back to the basement and end the fire before the wood had time to even turn a shade darker than it already was.
This was speed and he lived for a moment like this, his eyes then went toward the seal...he watched as the seal started burning before being fully destroyed.
Instead of being distraught by this, however, Keitaro was already back in his thoughts.
"So even if it can launch the heating ball because it's paper, it is quite flammable which makes it so that it burns after one use"
A one-time-use seal wouldn't be much use if it turned to ash after a single activation.
Keitaro ran his hand through his hair, looking at the burned remains of the paper seal crumbling away, the excitement he felt for his breakthrough was slightly overshadowed by the fact that this new invention of his was only a one-time use.
His opponent could easily rip the paper to shred.....wait hold up he could use that to his advantage. However, before he went into the deep end he must find a more reliable material to use for his seals.
Keitaro's mind raced through all the possibilities, Maybe Metal was thin, and if he used a lightweight plate, they wouldn't weigh him down and he could also write a seal on them.
However, Metal was also quite noisy, and an enemy could possibly hear the sound of the metal in his pockets and that would alert them.
His next option was leather....maybe, if the leather was well made, it would be pretty tough but the organic material that was leather might not hold up when exposed to a constant amount of curse energy.
Then, he suddenly remembered one of the things that Panditji had though him, the Yugama no Kami or God paper. This paper was said to be made from the hair of Shinto gods, it was also rumored to be quite tough and durable and due to it possibly already being a cursed tool, it could probably handle what he was trying to do without exploding.
A/N....Let's see how we can find out where AI was used in this chapter.....because trust me it was used, all you have to do is find it, though I am getting better at blending it in and making it look less Ai-ish...But the process takes a while so I am probably going to fall behind in terms of chapters but who cares, the second I master this I can probably be more than 30 chapters ahead at all times.
