Like him, there were other figures with their figures hidden underneath cloaks behind him. Of course, they were the dozen personnel assigned by the Demon Generals for his safekeeping.
For context, the Royal Demon City was arranged like an onion – structures in the settlement being arranged in concentric based on class, with the wealth and power of the denizens increasing the closer one got to the center of the territory, the Royal Demon Castle.
It went, from center to outermost, Royal Demon Castle – Noble & Military District – Merchant District – Dungeoneer District – Commoner District – Outer/Production District.
