Returning to his body in the Demon Realm, a small smile appeared on his face.
Indeed, the pressure of all the prayers had only become slightly more bearable but he would need to answer a few more of them to make any substantial progress in dampening out the cacophony in his head.
However, he was happy for something else.
The scene that he had spectated through the small portion of his consciousness (that he had placed in Mario's hands alongside a shred of his divinity) was quite heartwarming.
The woman had indeed been very sick and on death's door, but its details were unknown and he did not care to find out as to him all that mattered was the outcome of his interference.
He did not get to revel in his satisfaction much longer as his head suddenly snapped in the direction of the door.
