"Tell me, honestly… are you alright?" he asked.
Her eyes trembled slightly for a moment. It was very brief but he caught it.
"Yes, of course I am. Why would I not be?" she said, adding with a playful smile. "I mean, as the mother of the King, I do hold a high status you know."
He scoffed and shook his head, saying; "Come on, ma. I am being serious. I do not need to peer into your mind to know when you are lying… or at the very least being completely honest with me. What is bothering you? Tell me. With my current status, I doubt there are many problems I cannot resolve."
She tried to maintain unflinching eye contact with him to give credit to have previous words but in the end, it did not even take a minute for her to cave under his gaze.
Looking away to the side, she sighed but still refused to speak.
Smacking his lips, he sighed and speculated;
