Indiana asked, "We were expecting to reach the metropolis today, why are we going tomorrow?"
Glancing over at Zephyr, she couldn't stand the news she had just received from her. They had lingered in this realm for far too long, and with each passing moment, she grew more concerned for Iridessa's safety.
Zephyr gestured towards the clock on the dashboard, indicating the time. "We could reach there by midnight tonight, but there's a parade happening in the metropolis. The Whispering Well is on the outskirts, and the parade is scheduled from noon to midnight," he explained, hid eyes shifting between Indiana and the road ahead.
Rafael furrowed his brows in frustration, running a hand through his hair. Peering out of the car window, he noticed banners announcing the fae anniversary parade starting soon. "So, there's no other route to Metropolis?" he inquired.
