Iridessa jolted awake, her heart pounding in her chest, sweat drenching her body. As she glanced around, all she could see was a blinding white. No ceiling, no sky, just endless white. Sitting up slowly, she realized she was not in pain, and that's when she took notice of her own body.
As she glanced down at herself, she realized she was clad in a flowing white gown that cascaded down to her toes. Surprisingly, her body felt perfectly fine, without a hint of soreness. Raising her hand, she examined her wrist, but there were no marks to be found. Peering down the neckline of her gown, she saw that her body was completely free of any injuries she had previously endured.
She questioned, "What is happening? Where am I?" Her eyes scanned the surroundings, trying to make sense of the strange place. It seemed like she was walking on air, but not quite air - just a vast white void of emptiness.
