Chapter 15 - The Campus Belle, Victoria

Although this girl is an oddity in her beauty, she indeed possesses a keen Internet mindset and an exceptional sense for traffic.

As the pioneer of livestreaming the portals to other worlds, Jill later became one of the top-ranked wealthy Awakeners.

"Wow, there really are Awakeners?" Enzo said with eyes full of envy. "I want to be a mage too!"

"You? A mage? More like a meat shield," Dino teased. "I wonder if there are any Awakeners in our school. I'd really love to see one in person..."

John yawned. "Who knows..."

With no classes for the day, John brought his laptop to bed and began drafting a document.

This document contained detailed intelligence on the portals to other worlds and the awakening paths for various Awakener professions.

It also proposed the establishment of an Awakeners' guild to start training and managing Awakeners in an organized and planned manner.

Two hours later, John looked over the document, filled with more than 20,000 words.

The information within would take the higher echelons of various countries and the Awakeners about half a year to fully explore.

John's purpose in doing this was to accelerate the advancement of humanity's strength.

Although he was the only one reborn, he could still help all Awakeners by passing on some intelligence. Moreover, before the use of Awakeners to combat the portals to other worlds began, the military forces of various countries would strictly seal off these portals.

This greatly hindered the early-stage Awakeners from leveling up quickly.

Now that the document was ready. How should he disseminate it?

Thinking about it, John felt a bit of a headache. After all, to avoid unnecessary trouble by hiding the identity of a reborn person, he needed to think of a foolproof method.

After much thought, the only option John could think of was to use encrypted chat apps similar to "Telegram" to distribute the document. With encryption algorithms to cover his tracks, it would be difficult for others to trace him.

John first layered his network with several VPNs, changing his IP address to that of a small country in Southeast Asia to ensure he couldn't be located through his IP address. Only then did he log into "Telegram" and quickly found discussion groups related to [Portals to Other Worlds] and [Awakeners], where he released the document.

" "Alright! That's it..."..."

John put away his laptop, got up from the bed, and stretched.

He wasn't worried the document would sink without a trace because the details it contained were too intricate. Any Awakener who glanced at it would realize its significance.

His roommates had gone to eat, and since they saw John was busy, they hadn't called him. Now, John was also feeling hungry.

Just as John was getting dressed to go out for a meal, there was a gentle knock on the dorm room door. Thinking it was his roommate, he said, "Come in, it's unlocked."

The door opened, and there stood COCO, dressed in a black business suit, radiating an intellectual beauty.

Seeing John shirtless, she asked in a seductive voice, "Oh, did you know I was coming over and decided to prepare in advance?"

"COCO... What are you doing in a men's dorm?" John, slipping on a t-shirt, asked in surprise.

COCO huffed lightly and walked into the dorm, looking around. "You haven't been looking for me these past few days, so I thought I'd come to you."

She turned around and looked at John, asking, "Have you eaten yet?"

"Not yet, just about to go eat." John had already changed his shoes and planned to leave the dormitory first. If COCO's sexual desire were to soar and John's roommate bumped into something they shouldn't have seen. That will be a disaster.

"Let's go. I'll treat you to a meal, and you can accompany me on an errand." COCO said to John as they left the dormitory, adding, "It must be tough for students like you to get out. Being cooped up for days must feel uncomfortable, right? I can keep you entertained."

John thought it was a good idea since he also planned to buy some things. His black outfit had been ruined by a voodoo goblin shaman, and he needed to purchase a new set.

Additionally, he was keen on buying a mask, feeling that a baseball cap was not secure enough.

"Alright, let's go." John said, following COCO downstairs towards the school's parking lot.

COCO's car, a red BMW four-door sports car, was particularly eye-catching among a sea of black and white vehicles. A very beautiful girl was standing in front of the car.

Dressed in a black long dress without any flashy decorations, the girl looked exceptionally elegant. Her black hair, smooth as satin, cascaded over her shoulders, and her face, breathtaking and elegantly cold, was expressionless.

As COCO and John approached, the girl nodded at them.

John recognized the girl. She was Victoria, the campus belle of Star Medical University. In the beauty contests organized by the students over the years, Victoria had ranked first for three consecutive years. Her beauty was unrivalled in the hearts of all male students.

Victoria was the second daughter of the Wittgenstein family in Star City, a true heiress. Not only was she academically excellent in university, but she was also the president of the fencing club. Last year, she won a gold medal at the city sports meeting with her exquisite fencing skills.

However, as a reborn individual, John knew additional information—Victoria, like him, was among the first batch of Awakeners.

In the future, she would become a sixth-tier swordsman, a first-line strong Awakener.

Wait a minute...

The female swordsman who attacked him last night, could it have been her?

John thought it was very likely.

This could also explain why her swordsmanship was so sharp despite her not being of a high level.

John suddenly saw this as an opportunity. If he could establish a good relationship now, he might receive considerable help in the future.

"Victoria, why didn't you wait in the dorm? Didn't I say I'd pick you up by car?" COCO approached with a smile, and the two seemed to have a good relationship.

" COCO Mentor, it's already a bother for you to help me leave the school. How could I trouble you further by making you pick me up?" Victoria replied with a faint smile, glancing at John behind COCO, " What's this student here for?"

COCO introduced him with a smile, "This is my friend, John. You know the situation outside, with all the monsters and stuff. How could two girls go out without a bodyguard?"

Victoria turned to look at John, offering a smile devoid of any emotional fluctuation, and nodded silently.

John nodded back, confirming his suspicion. Victoria was indeed the female swordsman from last night. Both sides of her hair were now cut in a princess style.

It must have been because he cut off half of her hair on the left side with his dagger last night, making it look extremely asymmetrical. Victoria had no choice but to cut the right side shorter to match.

"Let's go. Hurry up and get in the car." COCO said as she opened the car door, tossing the keys to John. "What are you waiting for? You want me to drive and leave you to sit in the back with the campus queen?"

John didn't say anything, just took the keys, got into the driver's seat. He adjusted the rearview mirror and seat, and then buckled up. " Where are we going?"

COCO and Victoria settled in the back seats, with COCO saying, "We need to drop Victoria off at her place to grab some stuff. She lives in the affluent area in the southern suburbs. I happen to want to take a look at the mall over there."

John drove the car to the school's gate.

The gate was firmly shut, as all student entries and exits had to be logged. However, since COCO was a school instructor, the security staff didn't give them a hard time and opened the gate for them immediately.

On the way, COCO and Victoria started chatting in the back.

"Darling, why the sudden change in hairstyle?" COCO eyed Victoria, curiosity painted all over her face.

"It's nothing, just felt like trying a new style," Victoria said with a light laugh, nodding and touching the now shorter half of her hair. "How does it look?"

COCO didn't skimp on her praise: "It looks amazing. The princess cut suits you perfectly, it elevates your elegance even further."

"Well, to be beautiful is indeed great! Any hairstyle looks good on you. I'm so envious."

COCO sighed. Even though she was incredibly beautiful herself, definitely considered a top-tier beauty... next to Victoria, this pure and elegant lily, she felt slightly inferior.
