"I'll head back to the slums first. There's a rather tricky tall and skinny Ghoul there that I need to take care of." John said to Eartha.
This Ghoul was specialized in agility, with movement speed close to that of a level 20 monster.
These awakened ones were typically only around level 7 or 8. If they encountered the tall and skinny Ghoul, they would undoubtedly be slaughtered.
So, John planned to deal with it first. The remaining ordinary Ghouls wouldn't pose much of a threat, allowing them to safely search for trapped people.
"Alright, take this walkie-talkie. It'll help us stay in touch." Eartha said, handing him a walkie-talkie.
John nodded, accepted it, and put it in his pocket.
"Also, wear this earpiece. That way, the walkie-talkie won't be heard by the monsters." she added, taking out a small in-ear earpiece. Seeing John's hands covered in monster blood, she walked over and helped him put it on.
