Almost all of the survivors let out terrified cries, each one gazing at Sterl floating in midair as though they had encountered some indescribable demon. Their faces twisted in abject fear as they fled in all directions, desperately trying to escape.
This wasn't a sign that they had regained their clarity of mind. On the contrary, it was a natural, instinctive reaction born from the terror that had been seared into their very bones.
The dozens of meteors that had fallen from the sky, along with the boundless sea of flames, had shattered their will to fight. This fear would follow them forever, an indelible mark in their hearts.
Watching the soldiers scatter in all directions, hearing the terrifying sounds echoing in the air, Sterl couldn't help but shake his head, a look of bemusement appearing on his face. "Am I really that scary?"
