Before Tyler could muster a reply, an object shattering on the ground from the other room, where they operated on Grimgold, stole their attention. Dominique was the first to rush there, and Nadia and Ryker followed hesitantly, except for Duke and Tyler.
Duke turned to Tyler, ready to bombard him with questions and most of all, ask him to get some rest, when he realized Tyler was no longer there. He had vanished into thin air.
"Just great," Duke muttered, baffled. He thought the whole vanishing act was one of Tyler's gimmicks, but he didn't realize Tyler wasn't using any of his usual tactics/gadget to perform it. Which left him at a loss. Just who the hell is Tyler?
