Mark and Joel sprang to their feet, alarm written across their faces, unsure what had triggered Victor's fury.
"Where did you hide it, goddamnit?" Victor bellowed, his gun hand trembling as he pressed the muzzle to Joel's forehead.
"V-Victor, boss," Joel stuttered, his hands raised in surrender. "I-I don't know what you mean."
"Where is the money you collected from selling my container?" Victor yelled, his voice escalating. With a swift motion, he used the gun's edge to strike Joel on the head, making him groan out in pain.
When Joel persisted in his claim of ignorance about the container, Victor pointed the gun at Mark's thighs, catching him off guard. "If you don't start talking, I'll make sure every organ in his body is no longer usable," Victor threatened Joel, his eyes glinting with malice.
