"Raise your hands," the guards asked the masked man, but he did not cooperate; he merely stood still, prompting them to move closer.
At that moment, Esmond was merely thinking of a way to get in. Should he cast sleeping magic or just knock them out?
Sleeping magic can make people unconscious for a certain amount of time, but that's the defect: it has a time limit, and Esmond needs to be within radius for them to stay unconscious.
If he gets too far, they will wake up and alert the others.
Option two: just knock them unconscious and throw their bodies somewhere far.
"Option two, then." With that, he ran at a speed that the guards couldn't see. He appeared in front of one and grabbed his head.
He slightly bashed his head to the ground and turned to the other, but the other one had his sword out.
"We are the knights of Duke Blomstrand, the masters of the sea. Face your punishment!"
