Chapter 47 - All in the past

I thought the princess was just an obsessed maniac who keeps pictures, drawings, and clothes of Esmond in her room, but I guess I judged her too much with the little information I knew.

Right now, she had despair and sadness in her eyes; she looked a bit teary, to be honest.

I'd like to comfort her, but I bet I will only make things awkward, so I'll pass on that. I guess she's just sad about remembering the past.

"Back then, when I woke up from my sleep, it was only at that time that I was informed that Esmond and the rest had already left."

Tears slowly dropped from her eyes as she kept talking.

"It was a few days later that I was told that the demon God is dead and the hero's party will be returning, but they never did. Esmond returned alone, covered in blood; his eyes were red and looked like he wept for days unending."
