Under the radiant ray of the risen sun, entering inside from the large glass panels fixed on their living room, Adele clearly saw Julia's face.
Feeling startled, she only stared at Julia without uttering a single word from her mouth.
*clap-clap*
"What happened Princess? Why aren't you saying anything? Aren't you happy of having Julia as your manager? Weren't you two friends when you were young?".Eleanor asked with a doubtful expression.
"No Queen Mother! It is not like that, I was just...a bit surprised, or else I am very happy to have Julia as my manager".Adele said by fondly gazing at Julia.
"Okay then, I am leaving to the company, and one more thing!..."
Eleanor sprang up from the chair, and paced towards Julia, then by lightly patting on her shoulders, she said.
"From today onwards you and Princess are going to the university together, and also...I will inform the driver to drop you directly at your home after the university leave"
"Thank you for your concern, your majesty".Julia said politely with bowing her head down.
Watching Julia to act very respectful, Eleanor uttered being extremely impressed."Oh! What an obedient child you are? I am glad that I took the right decision of choosing you, Ha!".Wearing an utmost joyous look on her face, Eleanor went off to her company.
As soon as she left, Adele pulled Julia closer and with intensely gripping her eyes into the pretty, gray orbs of hers she asked.
"What's this all Julie? Why you didn't tell me 'bout this?"
"Woah! This isn't the accent you use, when you talk with her majesty?!".Julia giggled.
"Don't try to change the topic Julie, I asked why you didn't tell me that you were goin to be my manager?!".Adele shouted furiously.
Seeing Adele getting angry, the delightful smile at Julia's face was faded."I...*sniffles* I thought to give you a surprise...but...*sniffles* I think...you don't want me as your manager".Her eyes and cheeks, both had turned red of being immensely sad, as Adele shouted at her.
Seeing Julia's teary face, without thinking further, Adele pulled her closer by the nape and covered her whole face under the jacket that she wore.
How could anyone look this adorable when they cry?!.Adele blushed.
"Ahem! Ady *sniffles* what're you doin?".In a sneaky tone, Julia asked.
"Um...Aha...It's nothin...haha".With her tongue stuttering Adele uttered, then she gently wiped off the tears from Julia's pretty, rosen cheeks and spoke in a soft tone.
"Who said that I'm not happy? In fact, I'm feelin lucky that I got YOU as my manager, 'kay? So now...please don't flow out your tears like this, and...".Pausing her words, Adele faintly stroked a silky, blonde strand of her hair, then continued on speaking, while running her gaze all over her flawless appearance.
"Well Julie...just out of curiosity, how did you end up being my manager?"
"Hm...If we say so, It's just a coincidence!"
"A coincidence?!".With frowned eyebrows, Adele asked.
"Yes! You see, I had to apply for a fashion designing contest which would take place next month and it's entry fee is freakin xx euros, somethin far beyond our means"
*sigh*
"Then...I decided to look for some decent part-time job, at first, I wasn't able to find any, but then..."
"But then?".Adele asked in a blurry tone.
"But then! I finally found the perfect job, which fulfilled all my conditions, and guess what it is? Being. your. manager. So...that's how it all happened!"
After giving off her honest explanation, Julia's cheeks glowed, as the luminant beam of sun fell over her, while she grinned, by making Adele's heart to flutter.
"Aha, well, I appreciate your explanation Julie but, on top of that..."
Pressing on her waist tightly, Adele held Julia more closer, as close as their bodies touched each others.
Feeling startled, Julia lifted her head up to see Adele gazing at her adoringly with a pleasing smile on her face. But somehow, for the first time, while watching her smile, unknowingly Julia's heart skipped a beat.
What is happenin? Why did my heart just react like this now?.Julia wondered.
While Julia was wondering about her heart's situation, Adele whispered something that made her heart to not just skip a beat, but to feel like jumping out of the chest.
"Wha-what did you say Ady?".Julia stammered in a shaky voice.
"I said, that you are looking extremely gorgeous today Julie, I mean...you look gorgeous everyday, but today it's just different leve-"
*push*
Unable to bear her heart reacting weirdly, without thinking, Julia pushed her away forcefully and said.
"Um...Ady, you should go and change your clothes, I-I'll wait for you at the dining table"
"Sure Juli-".Even before Adele could complete her words, Julia darted to the dining room with whole reddened ears.
Meanwhile, Adele stood there puzzled watching Julia running away, then climbed up the stairs, with exhaling a deep sigh of despair.
Sigh, guess I made her feel uncomfortable?
*kling*
Huh? What was that sound?.Adele ran her eyes all over the stairs and found nothing.
Hm...could be some sound from kitchen
Shrugging her shoulders, Adele climbed up the rest stairs and went straight to her room to feel surprised of seeing Marie in there.
"Oh Marie! Bonjour! When did you come? I didn't see you arrive?"
"Bonjour, your highness! I just arrived now".Marie said with bowing her head.
"Aha, well Marie...I'm kinda disappointed for you not tellin me 'bout Julie being my manager?"
"Pardon me your highness, but she insisted me for not telling you!"
*chuckle*
"Aha! I was just kiddin, no big deal Marie".Adele said with waving off an assuring hand-gesture towards Marie.
"Is that so? Then um, I have took out your clothes for today, so please change onto them and come downstairs for breakfast"
Marie then closed the door of her room and left to the kitchen. After she was gone, Adele took of her coat while leisurely stroding towards the huge mirror in her room, then, while viewing her reflection, as Adele was slowly unbuttoning the shirt of her pajama, suddenly she stopped at the middle, and gasped.
M-my ring?! It's not in my finger!
Frantically, Adele searched for her ring, in every corners of the room, but she failed to find it out. Fear arose through her veins, her hands were shivering and most of all, her whole body was sweating out of anxiety.
Oh no...*pant* wha-what am I gonna do now? If Queen Mother finds out 'bout this, she will-
*knock-knock*
"Ady! It's me Julie, I have something to ask-"
*Clack*
"...you"
Pausing her words, Julia stared at Adele. Her half unbuttoned shirt which was slightly revealing her whole sweated bosom and those heavy breath she was exhaling out of fear made Adele to look like the most sexiest human being in the world to whom anyone would get aroused with lust desires.
"Um, so what were you goin to ask me?"
"Ah! That! Ahaha, i-is this yours?"
Averting her gaze, Julia showed something, which glinted brightly, as she held her arm up. Looking closer, Adele realized that the thing what Julia held, was the ring that she looked around for all this time.
"Yes! It's mine! Thanks Julie! Phew, I was scared, where did you find it?".Adele asked, while putting on that uniquely patterned, ruby-ring, on her index finger.
"I found it on the stairs, but Ady-"
Suddenly, Julia held onto Adele's hands while interrupting her from wearing the ring and said.
"Doesn't this fit on your ring-finger? 'Cause it looks like it's loose in your index?".Julia asked by looking at the ring.
"Um...Ah! tha-that's 'cause I like to wear it on my index one, Ahaha".She blabbered.
"Is that so? then, come downstairs quick and...Ahem! Please...make sure how do you look before openin the...door"
As Julia left, Adele wore on that ring which barely fitted on her index finger and went inside the room.
Why did Julie said like that before?
Adele looked down to only feel flustered of seeing her halfly unbuttoned shirt which revealed off her bosom.
Argh! C'mon, Did Julie see me like this? How embarrassin!
After sulking and groaning for a while, she changed her clothes and went to the dining room for breakfast. As she arrived, she saw Julia standing there.
Feeling ashamed, Adele quickly turned away her eyes from Julia and sat down to have breakfast. But, even so, Julia's eyes did not hesitate to look at her with an admiring gaze.
Wow, even the way she eats is beautiful, it's like...watchin a piece of art- woah! Wait a sec, why am I thinkin like this 'bout Ady?
"What's wrong with me?!".Julia uttered in a loud tone by making Adele and Marie worried, who were there in that room along with her.
"Wha-what happened Julia? Are you okay honey?".Being concerned, Marie asked.
At that moment, leaving her breakfast in the middle, Adele stood up and hurried towards Julia, then by gently moving aside her silky, blonde strands, Adele slowly placed her brow over hers and said in a soft, velvety tone.
"Phew, I was worried when you screeched like that, but I guess you're all fine, good grief!"
Feeling the touch of Adele very close to her brow, Julia's heart started pounding hardly so much that she stumbled with her words."Um, s-sorry, my bad"
After completing her rest meal, Adele and Julia left to the university. On the way, suddenly, an unserious argument happened between both of them.
*babble-babble*
"I said no Julie! You can call me by my name, you don't need to address me somethin respectful"
"C'mon Ady, you should understand that you're a royalty and on top of that you're my superior!...so if I call you by your NAME what'd everyone think 'bout me?"
"What?! Ahh...I just don't like it when you call me like that, it kinda feels unfriendly, that's why I was...".Adele annoyingly turned her head to the window, with pouted lips.
*sigh*
"Ah, fine, let's do this? when it'll be only the two of us around, I'll call you by your name! Hm? In that way, there won't be any prob also? Now, happy?"
"Hmm".Adele hummed, with a low-key expression on her face.
After that, an awkward silence continued on lingering inside the limousine, making Julia to feel, utterly discomfortable.
Not longer enough, they arrievd at the university. As they slowly strode through the hallway, with Adele averting her head from Julia upsetly, like a stubborn baby, confusing gazes were gripped above them. Soon enough, the chattering began.
*murmur-murmur*
"Hey, who is that omega with Princess Adele?"
"Yo! Isn't she the one who Princess was arguing with on the hallway?"
"Yeah! you're right dude!"
"But, why is she with Princess? What's their relation?"
While all the students were unstoppably gossiping about Julia, all of a sudden, a delicate, captivative voice of someone spoke, by seeking the attention of everyone towards theirself.
"She is Adele's manager"
Hearing that familiar voice, Adele felt a thump in her heart. Clenching her fist, she haltingly turned her head back and turned pale, as if she had seen a ghost.
"Pr-princess Celine?".Adele asked in a shaky voice.
"Yes! It's been a while, isn't it Delie?"
Grinning widely, Celine rushed to Adele and embraced her with arms fondly wrapping around her neck. Hesitantly, with reluctant hands, Adele hugged her back.
As they both did so, everyone, including Julia, who was standing behind Adele, watched them with an uncertain silence.
Celine?...who's she? It's my first time seein her? Is she Ady's frien-
*shine*
Bringing a pause in her thoughts, Julia suddenly squinted her eyes to view the thing which shone on Celine's left hand that was placed over Adele's nape. Watching closer, she realized, that it was just a ring, but then, the more she looked at it, the instant her brain grasped.
This ring, it's the exact same one that Ady has on her finger? But then...why has Celine wore it on her RING-FINGER?!
