Chapter 1 - 1 A New Beginning

:

---

I am a bored man, like every other person living in the current time, struggling through each day in 2024. Ugh! Another monotonous day. I wake up and go for a little walk, mulling over the fact that I don't have any friends, I don't like people, and I prefer solitude. My only entertainment comes from books and stories. Lost in my thoughts, I wonder if I could travel to a fantasy world with powers, completely oblivious to the fact that I'm standing in the road early in the morning. Then, a mighty truck came and hit me. Everything went dark.

**CURRENT TIME**

I don't know my name, or at least I can't remember it. Everything around me is dark, but peaceful. I'm not sad that I've died—if anything, it feels more serene than anything I've ever experienced. I begin to think about books and many things, hoping for reincarnation.

"Hello, is there any god?" I yell, my voice echoing in the void. Suddenly, the darkness trembles, and a being appears. I can't fully describe its shape, but it is enormous—made of light, shining brilliantly. A voice resonates from all sides.

"Hello, child. You weren't supposed to be in the void. No one should be in the void. Out of all creation, you have piqued my interest."

"Are you a god? Can you reincarnate me?" I ask, a mix of hope and desperation in my voice.

"Well, it's quite easy. I can send you to any world you desire. After all, I am only below the Allfather. It's been eons since I've talked to anyone while creating my own multiverse. I'll grant your request for entertainment, so ask away."

"I want to be born in the world of *A Song of Ice and Fire* as an Elven Lord, with my own pocket dimension where my empire will reside. I want to be the god of the world, able to change anyone into elves. I want all known magic, eternal life, and the ability to provide eternal life. I'll have a World Tree in my dimension and super regeneration."

"So you want to be a deity?" the voice asks, a hint of amusement in its tone. "I can grant you all of that, but the world is low-level, so you won't be able to use all known magic right away. You won't be able to have a World Tree either, but I'll grant you everything else. You'll grow more powerful with age and have eternal life. You'll be able to prolong others' lives, but you can't give them eternal life. You can turn humans into elves, and I'll give you a system to help you with everything and manage it all."

"What about the gods in that world? There are many in the world of *A Song of Ice and Fire*."

"Don't worry. They won't harm you. As you grow older, you'll become as powerful as them. Now go, and entertain me."

**12500 BAC**

I opened my eyes in a jungle, with green light surrounding me. Everywhere I looked, I saw weirwood trees, and the Children of the Forest were all around, laughing and dancing. One of them approached me and kneeled.

"Welcome, Son of God. We welcome you to our world," she said, her voice melodic. I understood their language and asked, "What do you mean?"

She replied, "You are the son of our gods."

"Alright, stop kneeling. What is your name?" I asked, curiosity bubbling within me.

"My name is Green, and I am their leader."

I walked to a nearby lake and gazed at my reflection—golden-silver hair, golden eyes with purple pupils, a tall, slender body, and a face more beautiful than any actress from my previous life. I felt peaceful and refreshed. Small particles in the air danced around me, entering my being and being absorbed.

I thought about the system and heard a ding. **Status**:

"System!" I called, excitement tingling in my veins.

"Yes, host," the system replied, its voice calm and reassuring.

"How can I access my dimension?"

"You just have to think about it, but I'll open it for you this first time."

"Open it," I commanded, and a portal appeared. I stepped inside, my heart racing with anticipation. The land was vast, with towering mountains, flowing rivers, sparkling lakes, and enormous trees. In the distance, I saw a magnificent white castle atop a mountain, surrounded by lush forests. All the information about the place flooded into my mind.

"Host, name the world."

I pondered for a moment and named it Elvenheim. It was beautiful, like paradise. I decided to only allow those who loved nature to live there—elves, giants, and no humans would be allowed in my paradise. I teleported inside my castle, which was enormous, adorned with beautiful gardens, tall trees, and grand halls. I entered the throne room, a vast hall decorated with gold and gems.

"System, do I need people to maintain my castle?"

"No, host. It will maintain itself. You can turn humans into elves, and they will be loyal to you. You can use them however you want."

I felt a surge of happiness. I could be as alone as I wanted, doing whatever I wished. "What about my magic system?" I asked, eager to learn more.

"You have to assimilate the knowledge first. You'll need to sleep for a time. Should I start the process?"

I teleported to my room and laid on my bed. "Start the process," I said, anticipation bubbling within me.

**Starting process!!**

I slept peacefully, though I wasn't sure how long. It was comfortable.

**Five Years Later**

I woke up to the overwhelming power of magic thrumming around me, being absorbed by my body. I had learned so much, yet it felt like the knowledge was always there. Now, I just needed to practice it to fully use it.

I decided to go out and travel, to find people for my new Elvenheim. I would be a king—a dream of many men. I wouldn't have to do any work. My subjects would handle everything while I rested and enjoyed life the way I wanted. "My subjects, your lord is coming to get you all."

I teleported near the lake where I had first appeared. Everything was as it had been. As I emerged, the Children of the Forest began to gather.

"Green, come out and kneel before me," one of them said.

"Stop. No need to kneel. Green, lead the way," I commanded, my voice firm yet inviting. We walked through the forest for an hour and came to a large weirwood tree with red leaves.

I placed my hand on the tree, and I felt myself being sucked in. In front of me appeared a beautiful garden, surrounded by white light. It felt as though many people were watching me, and I became nervous.

"Hello," I said, my voice steady despite my unease.

"We can see you, son. We don't know how you were born from us, but you are our first creation. We wanted to create a perfect being with the power of all nature. We thought we had failed, but here you are, alive with our powers. We ask that you not harm the world."

I thought for a moment and then said, "I promise I won't harm the innocent."

"Goodbye. Go live your life. We will be watching you."

I returned to the forest, where Green was waiting.

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked, a hint of amusement in my tone.

"Oh, I want to follow you and go to your place," Green replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Fine, you can follow me." I opened a portal to my realm. Green and the children followed me, all amazed by my kingdom.

"We want to live here in the forest and take care of it," Green said, her voice filled with hope.

I smiled, though I didn't show it on my face. "You and the other 30 children will be my first subjects. Do you agree to follow my rules?"

Green spoke to the others and said, "We do."

"Then you can live here in Elvenheim and have fun," I said, teleporting them inside. I then teleported back to the same place.

Looking around, I saw nothing but green and beauty. I closed my eyes, listening to everything, and could see the world through my magic. I realized that I was on the Isle of Faces from *A Song of Ice and Fire*.

It was time to practice magic. I sat down and focused on my mana. I had a magical heart, like a dragon's, that could pump and absorb magic. With knowledge of all kinds of magic, I started with ice magic. I imagined a round ball of ice and formed it easily, firing it like a gun. As the day passed, I finally froze the water around me, walking over the river and crossing it.
